The cottages are fantastically located below the red rocks of the area. It is quiet and serene with much bird life. We also saw some reedboks in the morning. The cottage was cosy and well equipped. Petro was helpful and keen to share her knowledge of the area.

A perfect quiet retreat up a dirt road. This review sums it up: This was an absolute great breakaway.On a farm with peace and quiet all around.Lovely little house,we stayed in Aloe Cottage for two.Well equipped and the best -- you can almost touch the stars at night from your little stoep.Excellent value for money.

We have stayed here on a number of occasions in previous years, however our visit on this occasion was very disappointing. Our cottage was dirty, taken over by ants, septic tank was full, breakfast was one of the worst we have had in South Africa, we will not return.
