We stayed at River Manor at the beginning of March, which was nearing the end of our stay. The welcome was warm and even with the limited parking we need not have worried as they parked the car on site as we were checking in. Service around the pool was impeccable and attentive and we never had to go looking...

We had stayed just one night on our last trip to SA and wanted to return and stay longer. Had the same large superior room with equally large bath/shower room and stayed 3 nights. Not much to add to other reviews - the appeal of comfort, courteous staff, location, good breakfasts and a very welcoming, relaxing atmosphere - almost like...

Hotel comprises two villas (each with 6 rooms) one built in the 1800's and the other in the 1900's as well as garden rooms. The hotel is charming and very relaxed with cosy public areas. This past weekend my husband and I enjoyed 2 nights at River Manor Boutique Hotel & Spa in Stellenbosch in the Cape Winelands. A lovely old manor house with beautifully manicured gardens, warming fires indoors and approachable staff, we found the hotel a lovely spot for a weekend break.

Description: beautiful hotel formed by 2 houses being joined together. Grand old style of property.
Parking: at front,...
