I stayed at the Beauclair only one night at the tail end of a 9 day trip to the Western Cape. The house itself and common areas are very beautiful, in particular the walled garden and pool area in the back, over which most rooms have balcony views. We stayed in room 3, which was not particularly large (large enough...

We stayed at the Beauclair 3 years ago whilst on holiday and decided to book there again prior to our daughter's wedding on a wine estate in the Stellenbosh area. We 'took over' the whole of the guest house for 2 days and all the staff were extremely accommodating and helpful during our stay - there were no qualms when...

Stunning accommodation. Immaculate in all ways. We stayed in Room 3 which was a little on the small size but had a lovely large bathroom & fantastic balcony overlooking the pool and garden. Breakfast was first class and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Lene was extremely efficient and recommended some great restaurants and places of interest and the...

We have just spent 2 nights at Beauclair Guest House whilst attending the Literary Festival in Stellenbosch. The Guest House is very pretty with all the amenities and excellent.staff. Big problem.... is that it is located directly opposite sports grounds and for the entire Friday and Saturday..... from 6am to 6pm microphones were blaring.....Then at around 5am or maybe 6am,...

We stayed at the Beauclair for one night as part of our stopover to the winecountry. Nicely refurbished guest house with lovely grounds and quiet location. We stayed in Suite 3 and particularly enjoyed sitting and drinking on the terrace at night time. We were a little hesitant about booking due to the location appearing a little far out from...

We visit SA every year and always include Stellenbosch on our itinerary. We have tried several Guesthouses in the town (River Manor - good but highly overpriced and 5 Seasons -shabby) but keep coming back to the Beauclair. The rooms are fab and the staff are easily the most accommodating of anywhere we have stayed.

We stayed at the Beauclair in Jan of this year for one night, but it was a really nice guesthouse.
We had a winetour organised by the guesthouse that was fabulous and we also we left a lovely note on our bed during the turndown service for my girlfriends 30th birthday. A really nice touch.
The breakfasts are very nice...

Booked Beauclair via the website for a four night stay. Lovely welcome from Isabel, where we were shown to our room (2). The room is well appointed, with comfortable beds, quality linen and a well sized bathroom.
The pool is small but more than adequate and clean.
Breakfast is served in the dining room or on the decking outside. Fresh...

It was a very quick trip to Stellenbosch - taking my daughter to the varsity open day, and I wanted to treat her to a nice cosy guest house.
We tried to get into anothe guest house who was full, and the lady recommended we try this 'gem' She said it was beautifully decorated, and good value for money -...
