I had the great pleasure to enjoy a night at this little gem boutique hotel. Well situated, close to excellent resturaunts/shops. Friendly, helpful but discreet staff...nothing is too much trouble. Clearly this little gem is put together with a great deal of love and care.Little details like complimentary sherry/good coffee/home made cookies and treats a nice touch.Immaculate and well kept... We arrived late on a dark wet night after a long days drive only to discover that our travel agent had given us directions to the wrong hotel. The staff there redirected us to the Batavia and we were very relieved to be met out in the street - as the street names are on the curb stones and we... More

Centrally located in the city, warm and welcoming place. I think it is ideal for romantic couples and pre/post weddings...but if you are on holiday, think about booking this place, it is just packed with frills you actually don't need. Rather spend extra money in wine testing. More

The setting is wonderful - in the midst of everything whilst being quiet as well. A stylish combination of old and new in the decor. Lots of beautiful old pieces with quirky touches and flashes of brilliance and colour. The service was great as was the comfort of the rooms and attention to detail. Delicious breakfast as well! Great location on a quiet street, near all the cafés and boutiques. Returning there after a full day visiting the Cape Winelands was always a pleasure. We had a beautiful large room on the second floor with a balcony. Lots of charm. Delicious breakfasts. Staff more than helpful. More

My wife and I had very good stay at this quality hotel to start our South Africa holiday. Rooms, food and location were everything we could have asked for. Annine, Leane and Suzaan went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. We will be back !! More
