Arriving at the Regente Palace, our immediate impression was not favourable. The front lobby was dark and uninviting; and we waited patiently to check in whilst the reception staff ignored us. Our standard room was the worst room that I have stayed in anywhere in the world. At best, it was a two and a half star rating. The room... More

The hotel is a 4 star hotel and as one would expect our room number 301 reflected the 4 star rating. The rooms are airconditioned. The TV was perfectly positioned on the wall for viewing from the bed and the screen was a large flat screen HD. The room was located to the rear and there was no traffic noise what... More

Had stayed in this hotel about ten years ago before the tourism book in BA. It was advertised as renovated with executive and superior rooms available so decided to pay up and get the superior room. The renovation appears to have been limited to the hallways and the linens. Superior apparently meant that it was on a top floor of... More

Thank you for your comments. Regente Palace Hotel has carried forward an integral refurbishing of the interior of the rooms. Superior rooms are in fact on the upper floors but they also have special features, such as: intelligent air conditioning–heating system (=only in superior rooms), LCD flat screens, directional lighting, smoke detectors, wooden floor, electric kettle and special amenities (=... I stayed 1 night, by my-self, in a standard room. Good bed. Good shower. Quick check-in and check-out. Well located in downtown Buenos Aires. I woudn't go with my wife to spend a weekend or for vacations in Buenos Aires.

We like to inform that the Hotel does not usually experience any problems with hot nor cold water, nevertheless we will consider these comments. Regente Palace Hotel has 3 different room categories, which are: SUPERIOR, EJECUTIVA and STANDARD. Almost all rooms have been recently refurbished. We are working currently on the last few standard rooms that are needing renewal. Part... More

Dead downtown, no charm. poor neighbourhood. Old hotel, but ok. Rooms are renovated and they tried hard but age is apparent. You have to pay for internet in rooms and connection is poor.

I've been at this hotel on November 2009 and really had a good time! Comfortable bed, silent rooms and good service. The location is good, very close to the most interesting places in the city. The personnel is attentive and friendly. I would stay again there!
