We hate hotels! We like to find a home away from home that is interesting and indicative of the country we are visiting. This was perfect - high stud rooms filled with wonderful art - quirky but homely. All the staff were wonderful and accommodating to our every need. Fantastic breakfast too. The location was also perfect and we walked... More

Overall this place was good value. We had the Kurt room-I don't recommend that one. I peeked at some of the other rooms were much nicer, they must still be doing work on the Kurt. Bathroom was sink/toilet/shower in one! Felt like a Vietnam shower I had. Breakfast is good, crossaints, fruit, cafe, ham and cheese. Wifi worked in the... More

Bonito, San Telmo is a very nice place, the staff reserved us a warm welcome, we feel as "at home". The rooms are decorated by unique way, with a lot of light. It's a quiet and welcoming place. The situation is ideal to visit Buenos Aires, and the staff is very helpfull. Sorry, but I can't find something wrong to... More

Arrived late and get a warm welcome. Was a little bit difficult to find the door, but we met kind Portenos helping us. The staff was sooo nice- we get one of the best service during our trip. Breakfast was with fresh juce and coffee, you can take it to the great and silence rooftop or at the great table... More

This is an amazing place to stay - i searched far and wide to find the perfect hotel for my anniversary with my boyfriend, and Hotel Bonito exceeded my expectations. Every one who works there is incredibly helpful and laid back, especially Yanina, the owner. The rooms are incredibly unique with lots and lots of sunlight. There are about 4... More

The house is breathtaking. A multi-storey townhouse with a maze of outdoor staircases, unique (and they really are) bedrooms, a well furnished kitchen, cozy lounge and stylish roof terrace / garden. The staff cannot do more for you and their English is perfect (helpful when your Spanish is limited!). Breakfast is served whenever you want it which made us really... More

The name says it all, it's beautiful and charming hotel. We spent a total of nine days here, 7 days in Liesel (formerly La Torre) which had a great paper art installation and a very cool private terrace overlooking the rooftops and then our final two nights in Louisa (formerly La Blanca) which had just been remodelled and looked spectacular... My husband and I stayed here twice when recently in Buenos Aires. The little hotel with 5 rooms is excellent! Don't let the surrounding street fool you. Inside is a little haven filled with 5 unique, designer rooms. Breakfast was good (best we had in Argentina) and consisted of fresh fruit, bread, ham & cheese, fresh juice and coffee /... More

We spent 3 nights here and enjoyed our stay. The service was friendly and very useful – if at all possible try Avenida Casero two blocks away because they have 3 or 4 lovely little places for lunch or dinner that we would never have found without them being recommended. Also try “Doppelganger” for late-night cocktails. Our room was good,... More

This property in San Telmo is loaded with character. We spent a week here. The architecture of this bed and breakfast is astounding with lots of interesting places to sit, read, be, that are outside of your room, spiral staircases, and art nouveau details. The juxtaposition of these older elements with contemporary furnishings makes for lots of visual interest. The... More
