WARNING!! iT IS WHAT THE OWNER, CRIS, DOES NOT TELL YOU. Nice home in nice neighborhood but the all nite parties that occurred forced us to flee for our sanity. First week, a small party by owner's son started at 10pm and by 3:30am still going with somebody who thought he was Liberace. I finally had to go downstairs and... More

I reserved a room in La Acacia as I was taking a course at the University of Belgrano. It turned out to be the perfect location for that, about a seven-block walk through a lovely neighborhood. The location for other purposes around B.A. is a bit less convenient but once I learned my way around, it was OK. This part of... More

La Acacia is located close to the Domestic airport which is what I wanted. There were great restaurants not too far away and all in all the perfect one night transit. The house, rooms and bathrooms were all very clean and simple, the bed was comfortable and Christina was the perfect host. I had to be up at 4:00am so... More

Exquisite B&B where we felt at home even though we were far away from home. Christina and Carmela prepared a banquette in the lovely garden each morning and the breakfast lasted much longer than planned!! La Acacia is 2 mins from Las Canitas where we spent the best new years eve ever... after heading north to uruguay for a couple... More

I would recommend this small B&B to those interested in a quiet stay, a small place, and safe neighborhood. The place is well run and easy to book. Breakfast is standard. We really liked the location- away from the center of Buenos Aires, in a safe, walkable neighborhood and close to restaurants. The house is beautiful, the rooms are spacious... More

The best place to be in Buenos Aires! I was there for 10 days and I can surely say that one of the reasons why I loved lo much BA is my staying in Las Acacia. The owner, Cristina, helped me to find out the best way to visit and walk around in the city, she is always friendly and... More

I stayed at La Acacia B&B twice, in 2007 and 2008. It is located in the safe and beautiful neighbourhood of Belgrano. There is easy access to the Subte (Olleros) but also plenty of buses to Recoleta and Downtown (like bus 59). The atmosphere is great - you feel like you are living in a typical Argentine family house. Cristina... More

A first timer in Buenos Aires I heard there was a pretty wide range of accommodation options in the city. You could pay $300 USD a night and up for a room somewhere like the Hilton, or you could pay $60 a night USD for a B&B. Generally, I think when visiting a foreign country if you can find a... More
