We had booked 3 nights in this hostel after reading all the good reviews about it, BIG MISTAKE! The whole hostel is run down, our queen bed was so uncomfy with flat pillows, bathroom in suite was a joke, so small that you can pee and take a shower at the same time! We finally stayed only one night and... More

The old Parisian building is gorgeous and in a really good location. The staff are all nice and very helpful. Breakfast is good. Our private room had a balcony the overlooked the street outside which was pleasant but very noisy in the mornings. Also, image had some very noisy neighbours in the room next to ours and the wall provides... More

I've been travelling around the world staying in hostels and I can quite confidently say that El Sol and BA are at the top of my list of places to go back to. Clean, comfortable, great location, great atmosphere and lots if helpful staff and long term residents. Fantastic Saturday nights at the roof bar with live music and generally... More

We missed our flight so we got the pleasure of staying an extra day in Buenos Aires. This place is just okay. It is not great and it isn't bad, especially if you are into the arts. The private room was kind of beat up for being a private room, and was right next to the desk, which is where... More

This hostel is a great place to stay in Recoleta - close to everything in one of the best neighborhoods in BsAs. There is a great patio bar where you can get cheap beer and relax with friends and other guests. All of the staff is really helpful and friendly, and the owner is a great guy! We also enjoyed... Location, location, location! Close to the buses, subte and tourist spots. Grocery store is close however the kitchen is extremly small. Only room for one person. Limited amounts of showers available but plenty of hot water.

The place is incredible, in old building and great painted. The room (8bed) was ok, but a little stuffy. The breakfast was fine. We met great people there. Good location.

in the internet we read many good things about this hostel and the pictures looked nice as well we did not feel comfortable at all, stuff was friendly and toilets and shower rooms were okay, the room was not nice with dirty sheets, in the room with the towels cats were sitting on them I would not come here again... This place is below average for the city. There are hundreds of other hostels in B.A that are comparably priced and much better. This one is nothing special. No A/C, nowhere near the fun part of town, or a train line. Some of the rooms open onto the bar. Unfortunately we got one and the lady joked with us that... More

Stayed in this hostel for 3 and then 2 more nights. Cant believe its rated in the 50´s on here as its one of the best hostels I stayed in in my 3 month visit to South America (Out of about 15!). The staff were helpful in every way, rooms clean and spacious, beds comfy, breakfast included (tea & croissants),... More
