The charm of this place is the people who work and stay here! The owner, Guido, is beyond helpful and friendly. He does his best to help you find your way about the city, suggests great attractions, and will do his best to help you in any other way. If you're looking for luxury, this isn't your place. It is... Dead cockroaches everywhere in our room and black slugs in our private shower, this hostel was a complete disappointment. I thought we were staying some place with character, but really the rustic look you see in photos is actually extremly run down in reality. I booked thinking our private room would be $30 USD a night but they charge us... More

The hostel itself is a very nice place... But it is dirty, there were cockroaches in our shower, the kitchen even in the fridge. It's cheap and you get what you pay for! If you wanna save money it's cool but I would recommend to go to another hostel in BA!

Firstly, we were really glad we weren't paying full price for our stay at Kilca but had booked online and received a reasonable rate (about 15gbp per night for a double room). We arrived at the hostel to be told they had over booked and we would have to stay in a dorm the first night. We were particularly annoyed... More

I stayed at Kilca for over 3 weeks after arriving in BsAs and travelling from the states on my motorcycle and can say Kilca is one of the better hostels that I have stayed at during the whole trip south. The staff are helpful and friendly. The vibe is laid back, quiet, and it's a good place to chill out.... More

I ended up staying here for just over 3 weeks after I first landed in Buenos Aires. I was planning on staying only a few days. It seemed that everyone that stayed there instantly got the Kilca vibe. It was great to relax from the noise of the city, yet close enough to everything you wanted to do. Even after... More

In this hostel we felt very welcome. The people working there are very nice and have great ideas of how you can make the most out of your days in BA. We traveled with a friend in a wheelchair who had no problems moving around. When he was sick the people of the hostel took very good care of him... More

I stayed at Kilca for about 6 weeks and is was the best part of my experience in Buenos Aires. The people that lived there with us were from all over the world and the feel in the hostel was one of community. From the friendly staff that will share stories, wine, and Yerba Mate, the attitude spread to all... More

I stayed at Kilca for a couple of times, nearly 3 months all together, and it’s a really special and nice place to stay. I was fed-up with the previous hostel I was staying in, loud music, a lot of people and bad service. Kilca is a very friendly, homelike hostel with a special vibe that made a big difference... More
