Very good value. Everything was clean when we were there, the medialunas fresh and the OJ freshly squeezed. Really nice to feel as though you are staying in someones home, and able to use the kitchen at all hours. Very useful to know a little Spanish to make communication easier. More

We've traveled around the world and this is the only place where we were asked for payment as soon as we stepped in the front door. We realized why when we checked into the room and found hair and stains from a previous guest. The next morning we killed a bedbug by the pillow then were served stale medialunas, tea,... More

The policy of Che Telmo is the total payment at the check in, and this was informed to booking.com. I've read reviews about this b&b and decided to stay here during my stay in Buenos Aires - and we are very glad we did. We stayed for 4 nights here and we feel like home. Marta and Mario - the lovely couple who owned this b&b, were super friendly, attentive and welcoming. The price is reasonable, the room is... More

I'm so glad I found this great b&b on hostelbookers.com. It was the perfect start to our 9 week travels in South America. The price was perfect for Buenos Aires for a private room in a lovely traditionally decorated guest house, much better for a couple than to stay in a rowdy hostel. We stayed here for 3 nights. The bathrooms... More

We felt like we got very lucky with Che Telmo. It's clean, quiet and safe, and in a great location in San Telmo close to the city centre. The owner Mario is very very helpful, although he doesn't have the best English he was friendly and welcoming and happy to help us find our way around the city. We had... More

We stayed for 7 nights in che telmo and we're made to feel very welcome. Mario was a very pleasant host who recommended us a Spanish school which helped us communicate with mario's limited English and our limited Spanish. The hostel is clean including the shared bathrooms and most importantly the bedding. We had a double (the evita room) and... More

We were so fortunate to stay at Che Telmo - travelling on a budget, it costs the same as a hostel double, but is infinitely superior. Comfortable, secure, large rooms with cable TV, excellent breakfast, clean bathrooms and a maximum of 8 guests at any one time make this B&B the best choice for those travelling on a budget, but... Che Telmo was the perfect choice for my first trip to chaotic Buenos Aires. A cozy guesthouse in the busy San Telmo district, it provided a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere, with clean rooms, free internet, comfortable sitting areas and more. Breakfast was light but always good. And although owner Mario speaks little English, he was very helpful (with a hand from... More

We loved this little guesthouse. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of the city and near the subway, but still very quiet - we got no street noise at all. The owner, Mario, is so helpful and friendly and very keen to make sure his guests have everything they need. Breakfast is good - coffee, tea, toast and... More

We stayed here for 4 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay due to Che Telmo´s fabulous location and the friendly owners. The guesthouse is located just a few minutes from Plaza de Mayo and the metro (called Subte) for getting around Buenos Aires easily. From the moment we arrived, Mario was very welcoming and helpful. He helped us book a... More
