My husband and I stayed at El Colibri half way through our Brazil / Argentina trip. In all honesty we had not done much research in advance and had gone largely on the recommendation of our travel agent. We were so so pleasantly surprised by what we found when we arrived. Greeted by a selection of the staff on arrival,... More

First impression was wow! Absolutely gorgeous hotel set in the surrounding of green pastures with trees and horses grazing in the background. Very special. The staff was superb. The manager and the waiters a joy. The food was at best times wonderful, at worst times OK. There was one night which was a barbecue and it was so lovely, the... More

This is a property which offers the level of food, service, style and personal attention of an Aman Resort which I consider the gold standard for boutique properties throughout the world. The Kitchen is truly exceptional and very flexible regarding guest requests. The owners, Raul and Stephanie lend a personal touch to the experience and the staff, led by Juan,... More

I think it is significant that this is a place guests come back to again and again. Our family has stayed at El Colibri three times now (and plan to return again this year), and it's remarkable how many guests one meets at El Colibri who are on their second, third, fourth visit (we even met a family on their... When we arrived the whole staff were standing outside to greet us. We were introduced to everyone then made our way inside to meet the owner, Stephanie who runs El Colibri with her husband, Raoul. Although the building is less than 10 years old,it has a refined, traditional design and feel which is appropriate for the region. Our room was standard... More

After a long journey and a very early start it was a real pleasure on our arrival at El Colibri to receive a delightful and unusual reception from the staff complete with two beautiful horses waiting to greet us. This is a very beautiful and exclusive property. The Fenestraz family extended a very warm welcome and we had a special... More

My husband and I stayed at El Colibri for 4 nights. The owners, Raoul and Stephanie are warm and friendly. Juan, the manager, could not have been more helpful. My husband had a fantastic day of dove hunting, which was arranged by the hotel, while I relaxed at the the pool. Our only disappointment was that the mountain bikes were... More

If you are a horse rider, polo player, golfer or enjoy shooting this is definitely the place for you. Situated 50km from Cordoba city, there is little else to do or see in the area once you have seen the local Jesuit monastery museum. This is a new property rather than an old established estancia built and owned by a... More

My husband I spent three nights here. We were not too happy at first at being 50 kms from the City of Cordoba but we learnt that the town of Jesus Maria was only about 20 minutes drive. Nevertheless, the hotel stands alone amongst acres of beautiful farmland. It is a grand Estancia in the true sense of the word.... More
