The hostel is located literally 2 blocks from the main bus station. It is equipped with a small swimming pool, garden and space for bbq. Although Puerto Iguazu does not have great accommodation in general, El Guembe manages to disappoint. The rooms are dark and mouldy. There were dozens of mosquitoes there because they leave the doors open all day when not in use. chose El Guembe cos my first 2 choices were fully booked so I was crossing my fingers when I alighted from the bus terminal. El Guembe is indeed a fair distance from the bus terminal, took me about 15mins to drag my bags through the pebblestones. Finally found the tucked away hostel.
