We had a very pleasant stay here in a largish double room (double bed plus bunk beds) with private bathroom. The room was comfortable with a TV, and the bathroom was clean witha decent shower. Good location - Central hostel just behind the main plaza of Salta plaza 9 Julio. Staff are friendly and helpful with all questions we had. Rooms are basic and some with en suite facilities, would recommend this hostel if you want a central location and are happy with basic amenities - cheap and cheerful place. More

More of a hotel than a hostel, this is an early 20th century place with a great atmosphere---high ceilings, shuttered windows etc. It's ideally situated in the city centre a block from the main square. Breakfast isn't up to much but the positives outweigh the negatives. More
