Accomodation in Bariloche stay humble in family atmosphere, a real travellers paradise, 500m from Civic Center.and the beauty lake Nahuel Huapi.
Like Quijote Hostel has rooms with shared or private bathrooms, simple decor, wood furnishings and heating. Some rooms feature jewel toned throw pillows and garden views. They are arranged in a typical Alpin-style house with spacious areas.
I slept at hostel quijote in two different rooms, liked them both. Rooms are big and clean. The bathrooms aren't the highlight of this nice place and neither is the hot water. The owners of the hostel were the nicest ever!! Helped us so much! The dad showed me how to make the famous "matte" and helped me with my things to the central station with his private car. Kitchen is big and very nice so you can easily make your own meal. Basic but good breakfast. Highly recommend!

I hate writing a negative review, especially about a hostel where the staff are so friendly, but in general standards of the facilities where shabby at best. I have to say the bathroom was abysmally poor. No air conditioning or a simple bin in the room, and the breakfast was very basic (coffee, cornflakes and some bread and spreads). On a positive note, the location is pretty good and the kitchen is nice and big with lots of surfaces and cooking equipment. The staff where very friendly, although the manager did try and charge me 10% extra for paying for the room by card. When I pointed out that this isn't stated on any website (and clearly a nice tax dodging masterclass) he quickly forgot the 10% charge and I left feeling slightly happier about my stay. If you need only the very basic of hostels then this is completely fine. For me, I've stayed in far better ones for the same price or less.…

Wow this hostel was asstonching, a key point of meeting great travelers, and local friends of the hostel service! Great rooms, and kitchen, giving you free space, the service more then friendly help when ever you ask. With OK price, it a bit far from the center, but still you can walk and get to the center spots easily! So this is my recommendation Nimrod Meder(Israel) i was in my trip last year :)

I had a very good experience at this hostel. Everyone I met in this hostel from the staff was really nice to talk to, pleasant, and very helpful. The kind of people who go the extra mile to make sure your stay with them is good. Also, the breakfast was really good. They had a good spread of bread, marmalade, dulce de leche, cereals, coffee, tea. If I was to go back, I would definitely stay in the same hostel.

The staff is awesome. We stayed in the hostel for 2 nights. The kitchen is big and spacious. The hostel is neat and clean. The patio is big and quite. The dining room is clean and inviting. The bathrooms are clean but can be little bit more functional and modern. The flush was pain to use. But overall it's the great hostel. The location can be a big drawback but the quite time spen here would make up for the distance.

We came as a couple, and since there were no double rooms in the city we paid for a room for four. The room didn't feel clean, there wasn't a real door for the bathroom, the curtain of the bath felt dirty and there were bugs at the floor at night. Probably bearable as dorms.

My wife and I were staying there for 1 night (in a 4 people room). It was dirty, unpleasant and very noisy. You can basically hear every move in the hostel and it's tough to sleep. It doesn't worth the money. H Having said that, the staff is nice and might more cost effective in dorms.

I met Sylvia in the bus station, lucky me. I did not take is seriously when she told me she treats her guests as her family, I had changed my mind the next day when she invited me to eat with her family a special lasagna she made for mothers day. It was the best lasagna I ever had. Every one on staff did the best to accommodate me, take me with them to see the city and more. Great location, few minutes away from the center, a minute away for all transportation. I was happy with my room, the hot water, the kitchen and common area. The care, breakfast and location were worth more to me than any fancy hotel.

I really enjoyed El Quijote - Silvia, Cesar and Juan couldn't have been more helpful. It was a really good place to meet other travellers as it was pretty small, but sociable. It was about 10 minutes walk from the centre and had a nice outside space to relax during siesta when the town shuts down too. Breakfast was great - so nice to find somewhere in Argentina serving fresh fruit! The hostel kitten was super cute too! The bunks weren't too comfy but more than adequate. I'd definitely recommend it.
