This was one of the dirtiest hotels that we've encountered in all of Latin America - and we've traveled extensively. The rooms were dirty and the breakfast was not worth the $5 that they charged. The staff doesn't understand what polite customer service means. Several staff members were rude. We were very disappointed.

Bottled water available on every level, good showers with hot water, beautiful garden inside, hammocks outside for each room, 1 day laundry service ($1.75/kilo), nice sitting area, close to downtown. Beds were comfortable. We stayed one night on a room facing the garden which was fantastic and one night in a room with windows to the road (not so quiet).

After a couple of days in the jungle it was relaxing to come to the town of Banos and this hotel really contributed to the chill factor. The rooms were comfortable if not luxurious, the staff helpful and the breakfast decent, if limited.
