4 Star Beach Resort in Samoa in a beautiful and romantic setting on the South East coast of Upolu Island. Perfect for a wedding or honeymoon with or without kids.
So happy to have stayed here and experienced such a relaxing place! Loved it all! The water edge bungalows are spacious and luxurious. To step out on your own deck and see the fish in the clear water below, along with the views had me wondering why I’d even leave the room 😂. Snorkelling and kayaking were amazing. The food was delicious and so tasty! All this (and more), along with the hospitality of the owners and staff at Aga Reef Resort puts it on the list of places to come back to, and stay longer. It is a decent drive from the airport. I used the resort’s shuttle (paid service) but so worth it. There are places of interest to see not too far away. In my short visit I chose to get the resorts shuttle (free) to the nearby beach and hired a Fale for the day. If you’re looking for a lively holiday and lots going on around you then a larger resort would better but if you value great service & food, peace, and beautiful scenery then this is a place not to miss!…

This venue is amazing. We had a Waterfront Suite. The room was beautiful and very spacious. Everything was always neat and tidy. The grounds are emaculate. The staff are so friendly and very helpful. They were always willing to help and answer any questions we had. The views are next level beautiful. Just a beautiful and serene place. Absolutely stunning. We fell in love with Aga Reef straight away. We loved the food as well. We tried different dishes and it was great! We wish we stayed longer! We spent 3 nights in total. Definitely will come back. It's worth the drive out from the airport.

My sister and I were staying at a Fale down the road and decided to come here as a treat for the day. We each had a massage, stayed for lunch and cocktails and had use of the infinity pool. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The 60 min relaxation massage with Laga was fantastic, she is an amazing massage therapist! Beef burgers and cocktails for lunch were delicious and very reasonably priced. We had the infinity pool to ourself for most of the afternoon, the view from the pool is stunning. We even had complimentary use of the showers after swimming. Looks like a great place for snorkelling too, saw a lot of fish from the boardwalk. If you are not staying here I highly recommend still coming for a day trip!

From check in to check out the staff were friendly, helpful, and accomodating. This resort offers a beautiful full a la carte menu option for breakfast, with juices, fruit, coffee, tea, and samoan porridge - we rate the banana one!!! We stayed in Villa 1 on the island, and to look back at the lush tropical bank over the coral filled lagoon is worth the room upgrade. Snorkeling is definitely why you visit this resort 10/10 - definitely head under the bridge, down the beach towards the big island for the best snorkelling spots. If you want a white sandy swimming beach, this resort is not likely for you - though they do have 2 pools and a small swimming hole protected by rock. Tala is great - he's pick up and drop off (for a fee) - bring him chocolate. Albert is the star of the resort and makes a great fruit smoothie! The resort could use some landscaping and maintenance upgrades, but overall is a pleasant, quiet, relaxed vibe! Recommend.…

Such a beautiful resort to just relax and really unwind. We stayed for 3 nights in an island villa which had a deck over the water and it was amazing! The water was clear enough for me to actually be able to photograph fish from the deck, which was awesome for me as I'm no fan of snorkelling lol! The staff were all friendly and the management were very welcoming and made us feel right at home. The food was excellent, the desserts were fabulous and my favourite part was the delicious cocktails :) Would highly recommend staying or even visiting for a meal, if we ever make it back to Samoa we would stay here again!

Very very nice! Huge and very modern. We came for dinner only, nice outdoor setting overlooking the sea and sunset. The menu had everything you could ever want! Great cocktails too. Very friendly staff and nice and welcoming. Went for a walk over the bridge and could tell that this resort has a lot to offer! We would love to stay here next time we visit.

If you are looking for pure relaxing paradise, this is the place for it. If you are looking for a busy, noisy and active beach club, this isn’t for you. We stayed here for three nights but we felt we had been here for three weeks (in a good way!). The location is stunning but it is isolated. We didn’t have a car so made use of the resort bikes to ride to Taufua Beach Fales for a swim at stunning Lalamano beach and lunch at the beach cafe. The ride is stunning and worth doing as you see so much more than just it in a car. The resort itself is gorgeous and while not all facilities are open (eg the island pool). There is plenty else to enjoy including the infinity pool, snorkelling, kayaking and the most amazing massages. This resort really is built for just relaxing (ie there is nothing much else to do). You are immediately on go slow as soon as you arrive but you don’t need to venture far for sights including the trench pool and waterfalls. We stayed in an Island Villa and had our breath taken away each time we walked in and saw the view. It never failed to amaze us. The villa was extremely comfortable and clean. The staff were all amazing, even if some were new and a little inexperienced. What they lacked in experience, they made up for in charm and effort. A special shout out to the front desk team and Rick - all superb! We will be back!…

Didnt stay only dined here as staying nearby. What a great decision the food was awesome. Seared tuna was the best I have eaten. If you are staying here then indulge if staying along this coast definitely drop in and have lunch and a cocktail. Staff were lovely and the setting was just as delightful overlooking the infinity pool and the ocean.

This was the second time in three weeks that we have treated ourselves to a weekend at Aga, and it most certainly won’t be the last! We were so impressed that despite the hard times faced by the tourism sector for the past year and a bit, the team kept the highest of standards in service and upkeep of this gem of a resort that makes you feel so welcome and part of the Aga aiga (family in Samoan). Probably one of the most relaxing experiences of our lives, being surprised with a complementary upgrade to a view front villa with a bath, not to say how well-rested we felt the next morning sleeping on that cloud of a mattress! At Aga they keep an eye for detail in every department, not to say the food is delicious, using the freshest of local produce! We had the chef’s fresh catch special both times, first with masimasi and during our second stay with red snapper, and it only gets better every time! As an environmentalist couple, we also valued how well restored the reef and its biodiversity was, and were even gifted with the sighting of two turtles (that chilled in front of us for over an hour), a sting ray, a big blue fin trevally, giant clams and the most colourful array of fish that you would only see at an aquarium back in Europe. They have an ideal spot for snorkelling and kayaking that is a must to explore when you visit and a unique land and seascape like no other! If you’re planning to visit Samoa when borders reopen, do it with Aga in mind - it’s just the right place for families, couples, groups of friends, solo travellers, whatever the plan may be, Aga doesn’t disappoint.…

We had a fantastic 3 days at Aga Reef. The staff is amazing and look after kids and adults alike! The chef is great and always accommodate our family food allergies by doing special meals for our son! We really appreciate! The all resort is well maintained and it is very enjoyable to spend a few days there! Highly recommend this place.
