We discovered this jewel of a hidaway 12 years ago and can not find a more relaxing place to unwind. The contemporary interiors of the rooms are comfortable. The Mountain Vista suites offer the best views to the west for beautiful sunsets on your private terrace. The reception is always friendly and never a hassel. We were really impressed the... More

Sanctuary Camelback is in a gorgeous setting, and our room had a lovely view. The spa services are extremely good, although also at higher than usual prices. There are relatively few gratis services such as yoga or short hikes (for example, as compared to Miraval in Tucson or Enchantment in Sedona). However, we wondered about whether the hotel was sufficiently... More

My husband and I were on vacation in Arizona. We thought we were saving the best for last, but were wrong. The grounds were beautiful and the service was great. The room was not at all what we had hoped for. The interior was made of white concrete walls...not very warm and inviting. There was one kitchen chair to sit... More

We do have a number of different room options available for our guests and perhaps one of our other options would be more to your liking. I would welcome the opportunity to speak to you about your stay and you can contact... More

I spent this past weekend at the Sanctuary Camelback Resort for a relaxing bachelorette party. Unfortunately a lot of different things went wrong during our quick trip to the resort which makes it very unlikely for me to return to the resort. 1. We reserved three rooms with two double beds each since we were going to have three to... More

My wife and I spent our 20th anniversary at Sanctuary Camelback Mountain. Our 5 day stay began with the Sunday brunch - very nicely done. Once our casita was available, we were surprised by a bottle of champaign and chocolate covered strawberries - I wish I had thought of that, but it was from the hotel manager. The accommodations were... More

Pure paradise. The staff, rooms, property are fabulous. The food is amazing. It doesn't matter if you eat breakfast, lunch, snacks by the pool or dine in the bar or restaurant. Everything on the menu is 5 star. They provide lists of activities and restaurants in the area if you want to venture off the property. They also will arrange... More

My weekend at the Sanctuary Resort/Spa in Phoenix with my all adult family was a perfect getaway. Hot and sunny, delicious food, great pool, relaxing spa, beautiful grounds -- I couldn't have asked for a better retreat. Dinner at Elements restaurant with a visit from Chef Beau MacMillian topped off a perfect weekend. I didn't see any young children at... More

This hotel has individual casitas that climb the side of Camelback Mountain just north of Phoenix and seven minutes from the Scottdale Fashion Show Mall. It is quiet, filled with desert beauty and oh so relaxing. We swam every morning in the pool just outside our casita. Parking is available almost at your door. The service and turn down service... We had a great time at Sanctuary. It was very relaxing, and the hot stone massage was the best I've ever had!! The diligent attention of the staff was very much appreciated as well, the pool staff was awesome, always on top of making sure we were well taken care of. The restaurant staff was very attentive, and the food... More

Ugh. I come here once a year or so, and the lustre is gone off this pearl of a resort. Management left a fruit basket - cool, but my massage and spa scrub was dull, below average and certainly not worth the 250. My spa suite was grubby. They left my sliding glass door open! Who DOES that with female... More
