Not a good place for adults to relax. Why even have an adults only pool if you're not going to enforce it?? There are multiple pools, ONE of which is dedicated to "adult relaxation." This resort has been around for years but everything is in like new condition. Lots of marble and quality rooms and furnishings. Fabulous setting just outside Phoenix, with great staff - most of the time! Good rooms, if a little lacking in facilities. The food at J&G restaurant was good but breakfast is not up to scratch, especially the buffet - cold bacon, solid scrambled eggs, and c'mon guys, get some decent coffee for breakfast.

The Phoenician definitely deserves its 5 stars. The service is amazing, everyone is very friendly and eager to provide whatever you need. The rooms and pool are beautiful and overall great for singles, couples, or families. I stayed in a deluxe room facing the mountains and it was very tranquil. I would definitely return.
