This was my husband’s and my 4th stay at the Phoenician Resort, Scottsdale, AZ and this time we brought 3 friends with us. Each time we visit, it is more amazing than the last. Staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Just about the entire staff remembers and calls you by name. Sometimes, I have a hard time remembering my own!... More

We stayed overnight at the Phoenician and loved it. The beds are so comfortable, you don't want to get up in the morning! The grounds are impeccable, it is so beautiful. We are looking forward to a longer stay soon. The location is great, too. We saw a very friendly little jackrabbit taking a rest from the heat, which made... More

Our room and the facility were beautiful. The bed was extremely comfortable, amenities first-rate and the staff excellent. We had a mountain view king room with a huge bathroom. We used the fitness center which was extremely well outfitted. The 8 pools were arranged in a descending fashion and were beautiful and well-staffed. Food in the restaurants is quite expensive,... There are a lot of excellent options for full service resorts in the Phoenix area. But The Phoenician stands out for its central location, lavish appointments and excellent service. The property is a symbol of 1980's excess with an amazing, world-class build. If you want to feel like a million bucks and want a property a little more formal than... More

We appreciate you taking the time to provide such a thorough review of your stay. We’re delighted you had a memorable visit! As you mentioned, The Phoenician is just minutes away from Scottsdale’s active nightlife scene, as well as its shopping and cultural districts, providing guests with many on- and off-property options. Opened in 1988, the resort has undergone more... More

I've stayed in Ritz Carlton's and Four Seasons. I have to say that the service at this hotel was better than some of those. Every person I came in contact with went overboard to be friendly and helpful. I was there for 4 days for a work convention. So often the food/staff in hotel catering/convention areas are mediocre. Not the... More

The resort was very nice with plenty of ammenities for everyone. The Cactus Garden was beautiful, the pools were refreshing, and the health center was excellent for a workout while traveling. The conference center had comfortable seating with good views from all angles. I enjoyed a walk to the top of the Camelback Ridge behind the resort. I recommend the... More

Stayed here for a 2 day conference. Check-in was excellent (although a little too strained to be a balance between friendly and formal). Room was ready and well equiped. Good night sleep. Breakfast excellent. Good internet connection. Friendly staff. Professional, clean and well run establishment. More

We planned a week-long vacation on at the end of April 2012 at this wonderful hotel. It is a luxury hotel, with all the amenities, but not stuffy . We hated to leave our deluxe casita guest room, which was across from the golf club and with a beautiful view of the Oasis Pool. The resort is large and accommodated... More

Overall impression was beautiful when driving in. Main entrance was very nice as well with a beautiful terrace. Room was average and the floor we stayed on was undergoing a remodel which was very apparent when stepping off the elevator - unacceptable for a $450 /night room. Italian Restaraunt was good. Golf course was also good (greens always break to... More

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We appreciate your kind comments regarding our resort landscaping, golf course and Italian restaurant. We are disappointed, however, to learn that your accommodations did not meet expectations. Starting at 600 square feet, Phoenician guestrooms are designed to provide a casually elegant, residential feel, featuring bathrooms accented in Italian marble with... More

We have stayed here a couple of times for business and have not been disappointed. The spa is excellent and many people that have gone profess the best message they ever received.
