We stayed at the Penrose for three nights in 3 different rooms The coconino , the Kokopelli and Mariposa. Our favorite was the Kokopelli which has the largest room and balcony. We stay in many bed and breakfasts places around the world and our first response after getting over the drop dead gorgeous location was how unbelievably, perfectly clean the... More

We spent one Beautiful evening and morning at the Penrose B&B and wished we had more time to stay. We felt we had just scratched the surface of what Whitney and Christie had so carefully prepared for us. From the moment we stepped through the front we were made to feel at home. The pleasure our hosts get from making... More

The Penrose B&B is a lovely place to stay while experiencing all of the beauty of Sedona. We loved our room (the Javalina). The Popes pay attention to details - the snacks and drinks, homemade cookies, spectacular breakfasts, interesting decor in every part of the home, souvenir t-shirts and lovely patio areas to unwind at the end of your day,... We felt so comfortable and relaxed at the Penrose B&B. The quality of breakfasts was a pleasant surprise. There were lots of song birds, plentiful snacks and drinks, books, DVDs, comfy bed, and so many nearby acivities. We appreciated the on-demand hot water that had a consistent temp and pressure. Whitney was amazing. He gave us route tips for a... More

My wife and I spent 5 nights there. Whitney and Christie, and their staff, could not have been better hosts. Breakfasts were wonderful every day. We love to hike, so every morning after breakfast, Whitney helped us plan the days hikes. He even loaned us his hiking poles, and a cooler so we could have extra water. The Penrose, located... More

The Penrose welcomed us with open arms upon our arrival and the stay exceeded our expectations as the trip progressed, We purchased the romantic package and now know it was a GREAT deal ini comparison to what we would have paid for everything separately. They also celebrated in our engagement throughout the weekend with photographs and surprise rose petals in... More

Clean, great views, wonderful hospitality, outstanding breakfast, and close to everything. Drive from B&B into Sedona was beautiful. Owners were extremely knowledgeable about hiking trails, restaurants, and art galleries, and took photos of us on our last day (against the red rock backdrop) as a souvenir. More

Three of us college buddies get together every year at a different spot and we can't help but compare: the Penrose is up there with the best of the best. The ambience, the landscaping, the location and especially the hosts make it a fabulous place to stay. They provide extensive documentation and guests' comments on every aspect of Sedona, especially... More

We spent 3 nights in the Penrose enjoying our comfortable, clean, quiet room, loving our fruit & warm entree breakfasts, and treating ourselves at night to the sweet treat left for us. Our hosts gave us recommendations on restaurants and hikes and we enjoyed everything they suggested. The views from this location are amazing. The B&B provided snacks and a... More

We recently spent 5 nights at the Penrose - after searching the web for all the places to stay we could not have selected a better place in Sedona. There are just amazing unobstructed views from each room's balcony - you can sit out every evening with a glass of wine and just watch the sun light change on the... More
