I am so saddened to hear that John Paul passed on. He is a wonderful man, so kind and caring, especially to those in need. John Paul built another dream there in Sedona. The last i spoke with him, he wanted to travel, so he was talking of selling the Healing Center of Arizona. I stayed there many times over... More

I heard about this place from friends but could not find it on the internet, I guess the site was down. I called information and am I glad I did. The Center was clean, cheery, and quiet yet within walking distance to uptown Sedona. It was a bargain More

This was an absolute oasis. Quiet, peaceful, tasteful and clean. My room had a balcony which had stunning views.I meditated under a copper pyramid, played the crystal bowls and found myself calmer than I had been in awhile. There is a hot tub, flotation tank and steam room also a kitchen and well stocked library. The proprietor was very helpful sending me to the best shops... Great atmosphere. They had a memorial service for the owner. The place was full of great people from around the world paying tribute to JohnPaul. There were flowers, warm people and we were made to feel right at home even though we never met JohnPaul. Lovely grounds, good food, accommodating staff. The children enjoyed hiking the adjoining wilderness. More

This is my fourth visit to Sedona and my second to the Healing Center. I've yet to meet the owner, but Robert, the manager, is warm and gracious. The kitchen/ dining area on the third floor has provided welcome opportunites to converse with other guests and staff while resting after a day in the red rocks. Upon arriving, my friend... More

I travel across America and Europe a great deal. I have stayed at the Healing Center many times. It's the only place to stay in Sedona, which has become so commercialized. It's peaceful, private, surrounded by forest, a great staff of volunteers, near swimming and hiking and off the beaten track. Use of the kitchen and the openness to come... More

A wonderful place for relaxing, meditating, healing, learning about yourself in a quiet non-judgmental atmosphere. It is my home away from home as it is for many people around the world. John Paul, the owner and builder of this beautiful center is a quiet unassuming man who makes you feel welcome and part of a family. I have met many... More

Shall we begin with the grumpy owner? He's in your way a lot, you can't avoid him. Fake $piritual. Continue onto the green ((algae?) jaccuzzi or the fact that you can't get a hot shower. Not a clean place. Pretty rooms, though. Always some absolute losers hanging around the kitchen area trying to score food, sex, drugs, or anything else... More
