The location is just top. A nice hotel in the middle of the jungle with the nicest view we ever had. We saw about 10 toucans flying every morning and evening and playing around in the trees. Waking up with the sound of the hauling monkeys. The cabanas were good and had a kitchen, fridge,.... Only pitty that the breakfast... More

Thank you for wanting to return to Pacific Edge and the high ranking. We do not include breakfast in the price of the cabins, as we would then have to raise the already very reasonably price cabins. We have provided kitchenettes in the cabins so people do have the optcion of doing there own meals at a much more economical... More

Pacific Edge is a great choice for a hotel if you want to stay near Dominical. The altitude is great as it is a couple of degrees cooler than by the beach. The view is incredible! The location is great too as it is right up in the mountains surrounded by all the wildlife. At night, we must have had... More

Went to the Pacific Edge May 2011 for my mom's 60th bday with my parents, husband, brother and girlfriend. Have all been to Costa Rica before but this place was by far the best! The cabinas are adorable and have incredible views of jungle and ocean. Falling asleep every night to the sounds of the jungle and the tropical thunderstorms... More

The roads down here used to be awful. That had the fortunate effect of limiting development, so the gorgeous views here are not marred by any gaudy hotels or buildings. Even at night (and watching the sunset from here is a MUST) there are only a few lights breaking the canopy of green falling down to the crescent shoreline below.... More

We stayed here for 2 nights on the way to the Osa Pennisula. We also stayed last year for 4 nights and both trips were great. Tthis is the only place we would consider in the area. The view is so spectacular that it can't really be described in words. The cabins are clean and quiet with comfortable beds. The... More

My fiance and I stayed here for two nights as part of a larger Costa Rican vacation in Feb. 2010. We had just left the hustle and bustle of Manuel Antonio so this place turned out to be a welcome respite. You need your own vehicle to stay here and they provide gated parking for you. Pacific Edge is located... More

We were recommended to pacific edge from friends who visited years ago and heard numerous accounts of praise before we reached this little oasis. There are no words to describe the beauty of the grounds, view, and great wildlife viewing. We spent hours on our private balcony and overlook towers watching toucans, parrots, hawks, and many other birds early in... More

Since 2006 we have been staying at Pacific Edge - the best place on the Southern Pacific - The view is magnificent and the atmosphere is wonderful! It's a great place to relax and have a fabulous vacation. The cabins are very clean, comfortable and private. We always stay in Cabin #2 and there is a refrigerator, mircrowave, toaster and... More

When I made the reservation at Pacific Edge I was duly informed that a 4WD vehicle was needed to get there. This is true! Up a steep, winding, gravel road, this lodge is definitely off the beaten path. The reward is a beautifully designed and built lodge with incredible views of the south Pacific and dazzling sunsets. We stayed here... More

We rented 2 of the four cabins perched on the hillside looking over the mountain's edge to the beautiful beaches of Dominalito and Dominical. It was a quiet, comfortable place to be away from the crowds at Quepos. The rates were reasonable and we had a kitchen and were able to enjoy some simple meals together on the patio of... More
