We enjoyed our two night stay at this hotel while touring the Grand Canyon. This hotel was not our first choice but we were unable to book at one of the lodges in the national park so we selected this rather than one of the chain hotels in the area. The lobby of this hotel was very impressive. Our hotel... More

Check in staff are friendly although they didn't do a great job in selling the Grand Canyon sunrise to us...im glad we ignored them and went anyway. rooms are clean and comfortable but are dated, however if you are not expecting 4* luxury you wont be disappointed. the hotel trys to instill a log cabin feel which comes across as... Stayed here two nites. Check in did not go too well. I had made the reservation well in advance and requested top floor away from the elevator. At check in was given 2nd. Floor so asked if I could have top floor(4) was told no that those rooms were not cleaned yet, even though it was 5 o'clock. Then I... More

We decided to take a spontaneous trip to the Grand Canyon over Mother’s Day weekend. We could not get reservations as a hotel inside the park so booked the Grand Hotel which is about two miles from the entrance to the park. It was very pleasant and is owned by the same company as the hotels in the park. The... More

About 5mins drive from Grand Canyon park entrance. Holiday Inn gets the best reviews but it was full. Best Western looks wonderful but it's pricier. This hotel is clean, great wifi signal, comfortable beds, self laundry room and an interesting hunter's cabin like lobby. The red head lady that attended to us was very friendly and helpful with directions and... More

The only thing it has going for it is the location. For the price expected at least a little bit more class. The rooms are tired looking. The towels in the bathroom were horrible, I have better towels in my rag drawer. The coffee pot had leftover grounds and paper cups only. Had a room with a balcony, don't waste... More

Pet friendly a plus. Great location- minutes from the south entrance of the grand canyon. Clean, comforable room. Restaurant on site good. Quiet rooms. Very spacious. Walking distance to the IMAX theatre- a must see. Staff very friendly. Need to move the vending machine away from the hot room next to the pool- all the chocolate is melted.

The hotel is very clean, but rooms, food, drinks and store are pricey. Stock up on food at grocery before you get there. Tusayan is a small town with a strip of hotels, restaurants, and other stores for trinkets, etc.....all over priced. That's what you get for staying just 10 minutes from the fantastic views that the Grand Canyon offers.... More
