The highlight of our last Greece vacation was even better this year. We stayed six nights this year! Frank has installed new internet in each "casita" and improved interior and exterior lighting. The 300+ year old olive trees are beautiful and full of character. A fine breakfast with rich yogurt and fun foods greeted us every morning. The walk into... More

A wonderful place to spend some time away from everything that makes our everyday life common and unimaginative. Eumelia is the place to be when you’ve been tired of the usual standardized hotel rooms and you want to taste something different. The studios are more than comfy (Lavender House is my own personal favorite), the main house is the ideal... More

This is An amazing place to visit and relax and enjoy the warm hospitality of the host Fragiskos! Apart from showing you the farm, the geothermal infrastructure and grey water management, he will also share his ideas and thoughts with you with open heart if you only like that! Enjoy your stay!

We stayed two nights and had we known what a peaceful and genuine experience it was to be there is a good chance we would have planned differently, perhaps using the farm more as a base to explore the region. The accommodation is as depicted and described. We were given Sunflower house - the furtherest away form the main centre... More

We stayed with Frangiskos at Eumelia with our two boys for one night and loved it. We got to tour the operations (chicken coop, waste water recycling, garden, etc.) and see how Eumelia is growing itself into an agrotourism destination hotel. The hotel is made up of 4 little houses, individual, and each easily sleeping 4 persons (2 on a... More

The wild flowers and olive trees surrounding the apartments were beautiful. The air was fresh and delicious and the accommodation was perfect for our Permaculture course. Great.

We came from Oregon, spent a week in busy Athens, ran the Athens marathon, and then retreated to Eumelia. It was such a wonderful relief from the busyness of Athens. Our hosts and staff were wonderfully friendly and attentive. We had a great breakfast each day, and had dinner with our hosts several times. The farm is absolutely beautiful, and... More

Eumelia is the dream-child of Frangiskos, a young Greek man who lived in New York from age 12 and was educated in the US (from middle school through college at Johns Hopkins and Syracuse), with major in political science. After graduation he worked for the UN in Belgium and Switzerland. In short, he's an educated and well traveled man himself.... More

Best room in all of Greece. Really a little house. Organic and taste filled food in attractive and funtional setting. Host spoke perfect English and was MOST helpful. Fast free internet, breakfast with lots of variety and the best olives on the planet. Fun and playful animals, easy walks, gardens and old olive trees. "Blessed are the peacemakers" really applies...
