Fairfield Bay is truly out in the sticks, but it's also lovely. The area has everything you need for a nice getaway. We truly enjoyed our time here, haven't been this relaxed in a long time. I'm ready to go back. Next time i'll bring the fishing pole and my golf clubs.

This is a great place to go if you want to relax. The location is remote, so don't expect to see many chain facilities (e.g., Walmart, Applebee's, etc). They do have local grocery stores and restaurants, however, and we were pleased to see that the prices were reasonable. The units look dated (late 80s), but everything was clean and functional....
