It was a long and winding road off to the Pousada de Sao Goncalo, located high in the Marao Mountain range . We had booked for 2 nights expecting really good class accommodation. The whole hotel was sadly in need of complete refurbishment. We complained about the shabby state of the first room we were shown to but were told that the hotel was full. We were given a better room for the second night but for the price they charge they...
