Clean, modern small hotel, reasonably priced. Good room with wonderful view eastward. Polite helpful reception. Breakfast could be better considering that we paid 4 euros for it. Also believe that 8 euros for parking was some what excessive. More

We only knew of Antequera because it was a stop on the train. They are definetely on our radar from now on. Our flight from Granada to Barcelona was cancelled due to the general strike on March 29, 2012. We desparetely needed to reach Barcelona for our return flight to Miami. An excellent travel agent (yes they are still very... More

See the comments by RonVic about breakfast, it's still the same. Do not upgrade to half board, save your money and eat in one of the many restaurants in town. The food is of a higher standard and better value for money. On the plus side the hotel is clean and well situated for exploring the town centre. Service in... More

I also stayed here as part of a Newmarket holiday and was very satisfied with the hotel. The room I had was on 2nd floor and a good size, the shower was great and I also had the bath and plenty of hot water. The breakfast buffet was adequate for continental breakfast. There was bread for toast or 'pizza pockets',... More

Stayed as part of Newmarket Travel package with my wife and another couple. Fortunately, we were put on the 3rd floor and the room was good. Having read the previous reviews we were prepared for the basic breakfast facilities and went into town for evening meals. Optional coach trips were not cheap. We decided not to go on the one... ...unless your idea of "continental" is cheese and ham slices with cold coffee - every day! Never mind, this is a very fine hotel in a short walk of the centre of town. And Antequera is a town to spend time in. We did not eat in the hotel as the menu was limited - see other reviews...However, we had... More

Dear guest: The breakfast for your reservation was buffet continental. It has different kind of bread, cheese, ham slices, yogurts, mermelade, butter, kornflaques, orange juice, coffee, milk, infusion, fruit and pastry. The agency (where you maked the reservation) know the composition of the continental breakfast. We give them the possibility that this buffet was more complette with scramble eggs, bacon,... More

Hotel location poor. Reception staff in need of training in customer relations. Food badly cooked and presented. Breakfast only for the fit, arrive late and there is nothing left. Avoid the trip to Ronda, this is just an expensive coach trip. We were left outside Macdonalds and told to report back in 5 hours. Best trip we had was on... More

We upgraded to half board. What a mistaka to maka. Our group of some 24 people who took the half board option were agreed that the food was badly cooked, badly presented and badly served, the highlight being the soups which were edible. Basically it was very poor value for money. The arrangements for breakfast were farsical, it was not... More

We went bed & breakfast was glad we did. We did chose the same at those on half board the first two nights the same meal as they had, and it was certainly done to a price. Chicken in breadcrumbs overcooked & dried up. Veg nearly non-existent, and very little else. Soup was described as asparagus, and considering the area... More

I recommend Antiquera like a confortable place to visited another cities like Granada, Cordoba or Seville. Antiquira is a interesting old town.
