Thos boutique hotel is absolutely fabulous. Up graded rooms with modern high end bathrooms. Great friendly staff. Ask them to see the patio to the rear which will soon be renovated into a bar/ restaurant.. Falcons nest in the high ruined walls. Sort walk to either the old town or to the port for the ferry to Morocco. Great little... More

Rooms at Convento Tarifa are well-appointed & spacious. Bathrooms are clean with all amenities. Excellent service. Great location! The hotel is centrally located and you could walk to the Old Town, the beach and the port. We took the ferry to Tangier, Morocco for a day trip. The breakfast was terrible, you could skip it. The restaurant food for dinner... More

Stayed here from recommendation from a friend and was not disappointed. The hotel is centrally located so not far from the beach or old town. Rooms were spacious, bright and clean. Good value for money. Breakfast didn't look too appetising however there are many places walking distance. Friendly staff and would definitely recommend.

We are traveling through Spain as a family of four. We stay at the Conveno after spending a day in Tangiers, Morocco. It's a small but nicely appointed hotel with relatively large rooms and high ceilings. It has been fully renovated with granite tiles, quality fixtures, etc. We rented two rooms, one of which was a suite (I highly recommend... More

This is a soild place to stay. It is easily found on a main street. Loading and unloading can be a challenge as it is on a main street without much pullover space if you are in a car. However, it is easy walking distance to the ferry dock and old city. The room was fine and the desk people... More

Stayed at this hotel for one night on the way from Ganada to Tanger the next day. The hotel is right in front of the ferry to Morocco. We were greated by a very nice lady who was very helpful with our questions about dinner and the ferry the next morning. Very, very clean rooms (they look just refurbish and... More

We stayed at the Convento Tarifa for two nights and had a very good stay. As other reviewers have mentioned, this hotel was built right up against an old stone convent structure. The ruins can be accessed from the 1st floor landing (it looks as though the grounds can be rented out for private functions) and hotel guests are able... More

This hotel is terrific! Clean, centrally located in town. You can walk to the beach, the ferry, or to many great restaurants. Great value too. Breakfast included!

I loved this place. I actually went in for breakfast and was so charmed by it and the owner that I wanted to stay. Part of the property was an old convent. The garden area and part of the building were built in the 18th century, the other part in the 19th century (though the property has undergone significant restoration).... More
