Reduced rate in the low season, but no breakfasts available then. Charming rooms, lobby, and location, but internet only in lobby. Nice hosts though that speak English. We'd stay again if we had more money (budget travelers) as this seems to be the nicest place around in Tarifa. More

Good hostal in the very heart of the old town, thus very close to bars, restaurants (nightlife in general) and to the port. As it has already been pointed out, no air conditioning but fans and (natural) wind are enough to cool the room down for the night. On the high side pricewise but in line with pretty much all... I picked this hostel out of a list, based on my ignorance. When I arrived in Tarifa, I took a cab to the hostel. However, the cab was only able to get me to the general area (as this hostel is in an older part of the city that only has a walking path next to it). This place reminded... More

Stayed in this small hotel for a night. It doesn’t have aircon but that wasn’t much of a problem as the room didn’t get overly hot, and the temperatures was around 40C during the day. Location is down a cobble street, near bars and restaurants, so if a light sleeper can be slightly noisy although didn’t cause us a problem.... More

This was by far the most expensive hotel I stayed in during my 6 weeks in Spain and definitely the worst in regards to value for money. At 115 euro a night for single you get - a musty smelling room, hairs on the bedspread, tiny bathroom, thinning towels, average breakfast and no hot water - initially wasn't turned on... More

We lost a night's deposit but couldn't stay. The rooms were not air conditioned and very shabby. I could have got past that but the bathroom put me over the edge. We grabbed our bags and walked around town until we found something better. More

If a small hotel can have it all, this little place does it. Located right in the old city, it's close to everything. Just walk there, the alleys are too narrow for cars. The staff is pleasant, breakfast offers a little of everything and the coffee is great! Note - they only have stairs so mobility issues might be difficult... More

The pleasant and well-intentioned service was mismatched with the two rooms we reserved, one of which smelled strongly of urine (we tracked it down to blankets in a closet), and electrical circuits that were dodgy (flickering light in one bathroom, and one of us got a shock from a power outlet). Internet only inside, in the lobby. Breakfast is simple,... More

I stayed here for a friend's wedding over the second May Bank Holiday this year. It was exceptionally cleanly. The rooms have subtle Moroccan decor, and western modcons. The shower in the bathroom was excellent, with the large 'rain' shower head. A truly awesome shower! Situated in the heart of the old town, a really good distance from the Port... More
