Had two stays sandwiched around a couple of days in tangier. It was our second visit to tarifa after a ten year absence and really enjoyed this great little vacation apartment just down the. Street from the church in the old city. Rooms were clean, spacious and the kitchenette was great for brea, kfast and snacks. The staff were very friendly... More

one night in Tarifa, setting up for ferry to Morocco the next morning. La Casa Amarilla is hard to find, but precisely in the center of "what's happening" in Tarifa. Very nice room, very quiet, dead center in middle of bars, restaurants, shopping, and only a short walk to the ferry port. If you're driving, continue past the ferry parking... More

My husband and I stayed here in December 2011. We arrived a little late and only spent one night here before taking the ferry to Morocco. Once we found the hotel, it took us a little bit to find the entrance, which was a little ways down an alley. There was no light at the door, just a sign. The... More

We arrived by bus from Jerez dl la Frontera at midnight and Barbara had arranged for us to pick the key up from a bar across the road. We just made it before the bar closed. We left again early the next morning to get the ferry to Tangier, so our stay in this hotel was very brief. We had... More

This place is good! If you come in winter, it may be a bit cool, otherwise perfect. We had the corner room above the check-in area and were happy, sweaters on! Outside the hotel, there are gazillions of restaurants, just waiting for you. Take the local dinner, consisting of a package of starters, main meal and dessert. Usually, it's a... More

Jsut stopping for a night en route to Seville after taking the ferry from Tangier, this was a lovely town and a super place to stay. Unexpectedly large room at the front with balconies overlooking the street. Warm and welcoming even in the off season. Thanks to Barbara for making us feel at home. More

My husband and I recently stayed at La Casa Amarilla for three days. The hotel worked perfectly for us! It was quiet, clean, and much nicer than many of the places we've stayed in Europe. The refrigerator and kitchen was a huge bonus because it allowed us to cook some of our meals. The staff was very friendly and helpful... More

We spent three pleasant and enjoyable nights at Casa Amarilla. Getting there, follow the signs to the harbour, then left into the old town, which is largely a one way system. When San Mateo church (which you can’t miss) looms in front of you, stop. La Casa Amarilla is on your right, the entrance is ten metres down a quiet... More

We booked our stay for one night only and arrived in the afternoon in time to check in and walk the neighborhood, dine and then prepare for are next day trip to Tangier. We found the hotel fairly easily in the small narrow streets and were able to park illegally with flashing lights long enough to get check in and... More
