We stayed there only one night during our trip in Andalusia. The hotel has been recently totally renovated (bar/breakfast room was still in renovation when we visited). Very welcoming, personal service at check-in/out, nicely decorated, light rooms (we had room on second floor) and good quality bathroom amenities. This hotel definitely deserves more than one star they currently have. If... More

A great and very stylish hotel in the center of Tarifa. We did a trip from Seville to Tarifa and in Tarifa we have stayed in the Misiana Boutique hotel. The rooms are very nicely done, a combination of chique and design. On ground level there is a stylish bar (with a fantastic cement tile floor from Azule) where you... More

Hi there, Thanks for your comments. By now we have a new Misiana refurnished and absolutly new. Don't worry, we keep the combination of chique and design. The chill out bar is being changed: now we are working to get a beautiful and gorgeus restaurant that will be a reference in Tarifa. Sorry if we let you down by closing... More

Was here for a night in the little city of Tarifa. I enjoyed my night in this city but the hotel wasnt that good at all. First of all there is little light in the corridors so at night it is not really good to open your door. The room is not so bad but I stayed in better places... More

Wanted to visit Tangier and explore the Costa de la Luz and Hotel Misiana was a good choice in Tarifa. It had a great location within easy walking distance of the port, and a little farther to the beach. There were several restaurants/bars on the same street and many in the near vicinity including the small promenade Paseo de la... More

The worst thing about the Misiana is that it's central, busy and very noisy. The best things about the hotel are that it's central busy and very noisy. I stayed in the 501 room on the top floor which is effectively the penthouse and it's a great space - a big outdoor roof terrace with amazing views over the port... More

It was our second stay in Misiana and we still loving it! His 'high point' is, definatly, the location: in the middle of the old town, close to the best bars and restaurants and in a short walking distance from the beach. The rooms are clean and quiet (except on week-ends, once the bar is open till late); despite is... More

We had two rooms on the 4th floor that looked out onto the main street. We stayed here for 3 nights as a jumping off point for Gibraltar and Tangier. The jury is still out on whether I liked this place or not. The location is great. The staff, the bar staff that is (there was a reception desk but... More

The rooms were clean, the bed comfortable. Decor in the room had a sort of homemade feeling to it on a beachy pastel theme, but the bath was regular hotel style in all marble with a full soaking tub. I was in room 401, there was still quite a bit of noise. Not sure if there was air conditioning, but... More

Misiana was a good place to stay. It was fairly basic, but provided good value. Tarifa was a good point for catching the very convenient boat for a day trip to Morocco. Tarifa is a neat little beach town like beach towns the world over-- it has good restaurants and bars, and really interesting little shops with unique clothing and... More

My friends and I spent NYE 2009/2010 at the Misiana and had a great time. The rooms have a rustic hippy charm and their is a very funky bar downstairs which also serves as a restaurant for our new years dinner. Great food, great service, great location and to top it all off, we never had a problem with the... More
