Stayed as part of the Coast to Coast walk. Mary made us very welcome by offering home made cakes, nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were spotless, comfortable with a new flatscreen tv. Excellent bathroom. Tasty breakfast too. I'd thoroughly recommend to anyone.

Was warmly greeted by host with Victoria Sponge and a pot of tea after a tiring day on arrival with the added bonus of great view looking towards Nine Standards. Would recommend a stay and would easily go back.

A private residence and delightful. A very warm welcome from a lovely woman - sponge cake and a pot of tea - and a genuine feeling of being made welcome. Lovely bright and clean room - and a great night's sleep.

Stayed here two nights. Ken and Holly the dog welcomed me from the outset with tea and cake A very clean and comfortable old house. Set up the hose pipe to clean my boots and gaiters.
