My wife and I spent 2 nights at Woodlands and we can't fault it. Very clean, very friendly. Hugo and Pippa are lovely people and made us feel very welcome. We stayed in room 11 with out little Jack Russell. It's a great room if you have pets as it has easy access to the outside and even has its... More

Just returned from a perfect short break at The Woodlands. Weather was perfect, our meals in Padstow perfect and above all our stay at the Woodlands was perfectly hosted by charming and attentive owners Pippa and Hugo. Breakfasts were first class, room very comfortable with luxury items in bathroom and a large fridge for real milk and any other personal... More

Thank you so much for the kind comments. It is lovely of you to mention Paula and Vicky who work very hard and are the best ‘staff’ in the world – we are very lucky to have them. We enjoyed the photos and the dog having a good time as well as the humans. Hugo being disabled himself, fully understands... More

We stayed here over the Easter bank holiday for two nights and found the whole experience welcoming and delightful! Check in with Pippa was easy and relaxed with a leisurely tour of the house and an introduction to the honesty bar! We were in room 11 which had a private terrace overlooking sweeping views of the countryside coupled with a... More

Thank you for your comments. The Shower is a problem; there is some technical plumbing reason we are unable to have a proper shower over the bath in Room 11, we would love to replace the rather inadequate electric shower that is there at the moment. But we will get something sorted. Room 11’s little terrace is wonderful when the... More

As alway Pipa & Hugo made our stay and it didnt just stop with them - all the staff were lovely too. Made to feel welcome as soon as we stepped foot inside. This is our 5th stay with them now ... Twice in the quiet, light and gorgeous beach room and previously when they had their self catering cottage... More

Firstly I apologise to the lovely Pippa & Hugo for the delay in writing this review...the one I wrote at the time appears to have got lost! If you are wondering where to stay in the gorgeous Padstow, look a little further afield & you will find this treasure of a B&B. A short walk or taxi ride at night... More

We've just returned from 3 wonderful days at Woodlands. The house is very quiet, no noises from the other rooms or road. We were in the Bay room (4 poster) which was bright and spacious, lovely views and with a very comfortable bed and pillows. The main comment to make is the attention to detail. Pippa and Hugo have put... More
