Being a silly Canadian, I had never heard of Rick Stein until we booked the best place to stay in Padstow. It was such a lovely little town. Although we only stayed one night here on the way to St Ives, we did dine in Mr Stein's restaurant, which was exquisite. I didn't know British cuisine could be so great.... More

We had a two night stay here in Polzeath, the last room on the ground floor. Like most other reviewers we found the room stylish and beautifully decorated in muted relaxing colours. The large four poster bed was soft but comfy, as were the pillows. The bathroom is huge with large bath and shower and his and hers sinks. Nice... More

Went in mid January for a three-night stay. Hotel was stunning. We stayed in Constantine on the first floor. All the rooms have lovely views of the garden and estuary, though the view is slightly nicer on the first floor given the height. Bathroom excellent - molton brown toiletries were a treat, the walk-in shower with two showerheads was terribly... More

Having had a noise problem at the Seafood we transferred to this hotel, it's small and perfect. Huge bedroom with bathroom to match with Molton Brown freebies. I liked the real milk in your room fridge, superb idea. All in all an excellent experience.

We stayed here for three nights in September. We had a ground floor room which was beautifully decorated and the standard of the room is very good indeed. Plenty of room, and a nice patio area. Staff were cheerful and friendly and responsive. Bathroom was of high quality with a great bath and shower. Can't wait to go back.

We stayed in one of the first floor rooms which had a great view over the bay. Waking up each day and being able to look out over the blue sea is something special. The room was spacious and stylishly furnished and decorated, the bathroom was large and equally well designed. The staff were very friendly with nothing any trouble... More

My husband and I, together with Nell our Flat Coat Retriever, recently returned from a truly wonderful stay at 3 of Rick Steins Hotels, Prospect House, The Seafood Restaurant and St Edmunds, at all of these the standard of accommodation was excellent. We found the staff to be helpful and friendly which only helped to complement our stay with nothing... More

We were lucky enough to stay in the room called Constantine on the first floor. The room was very stylishly decorated, spacious and with a nice large bathroom. Wi-Fi connection is strong if that is important to you. Location fabulous and plenty to do & see around Padstow. Couldn't find anything to complain about at all.

Very spacious room with excellent bathroom, ( bath ans stand alone shower) stayed in top floor room, so unable to comment on noise in lower rooms, mentioned by other reviewes. Excellent breakfast with lots of choice, expensive but worth it. Parking on site. Can check in from 2pm with 11am checkout. Great decor and attention to detail.
