Very short review. This place is great. We stayed in room 1 which was excellent. You are made extremely welcome and getting the insight of where to eat and what to do was invaluable. Afternoon tea and cake and a catch up with the hosts is a must each afternoon. Breakfast was brilliant.

Just got back from a lovely overnight stay in this lovely b&b in the tiny seaside village of Staithes. The hosts were as described and more, the hospitality and warmth needs to be seen and experienced to be fully appreciated! From the laid back/casual attitude right from the off, you know you're in for an enjoyable stay, whether it be... More

My husband and I own and operate a small B&B near Yosemite National Park in California...so we are very familiar with the various aspects of operating a B&B. Roraima House is excellent in every way. Perhaps one of the most important reasons for staying at a B&B is 'local knowledge' and personal care---something you don't get at a motel or... More

We stayed at Roraima between Christmas and New Year 2012. We had the "top floor" comprising of two bedrooms, living room, kitchen with dining table and spacious bathroom ~ with stunning sea & country views to boot. The warm, friendly welcome was a brilliant start to our 4 night stay. Stuart and Sandra were perfect hosts with exceptional hosting skills.... More

First went to Staithes in 1977 with my school. Nothing has changed..thankfully. Roraima looked good on the web and we asked for room one as it looked great. The room was as expected and the roll top bath was well used, with a couple of bottles of champagne. A great place to relax after some 'bracing' November walks on the... More

We had a wonderful warm welcome on our arrival from Sandra and Stuart. Our room (room 3) was large, light and airy - very comfortable, with great views. Our hosts provided us with lots of local knowledge/places to visit and our breakfasts, locally sourced, certainly set us up for the day. it's just a shame we couldn't stay longer, but... More

Just returned from a weekend break at Roraima House in Staithes. This is by far the most friendly guest house we have ever stayed in. The whole experience was First Class - excellent accomodation, full of character - excellent hosts, friendly and warm. Thank you for letting us stay in your wonderful home. Everything perfect.

Had a great stay here with friends for a couple of nights. Stuart and Sandra were extremely helpful and friendly and the afternoon tea is a lovely touch - homemade cakes ummm lovely. Their advice was spot on for things to do and places to go. Our room was luxurious with a fabulous bathroom, I usually only take showers but... More

Lovely rooms and fantastic hosts who went out of their way to be helpful. Breakfast was excellent and the bread was even home baked! The rooms can be viewed on the website but the pictures don't really do them justice. We stayed in room 3 which was lovely. Much larger and nicer than I was expecting from the photos.

Great couple of nights in the ever attentive care of Stuart and Sandra - great breakfast, very tastefully decorated and the ensuite reached my high standards!! Everything I wanted from a weekend away! Thanks guys! The only reason I've rated sleep quality below excellent is that the bed was slightly on the soft side for me - but my bed... More
