Nice old farm house outside Gairloch. It was a little farther from Gairloch than we expected, but was in between Gairloch and Badachro, another very nice village, so convenient for exploring both. The house itself was beautiful, but our room was a bit disappointing, furnished with inexpensive furnishings that looked more like a dorm room than an old inn. Also,... More

Lovely old house surrounded by trees. Midges not a problem for us as it rained a great deal. Bedroom was large but too much furniture made it feel more cramped than it was. From my side of the bed I had to negotiate a 12 inch gap between the bed and a wardrobe. Enormous en-suite!! Good breakfasts. Agree with other... More

This accommodation is a good value for the location, although it is a bit removed from town. The property itself is clean and quiet and our room and en suite bathroom were nice. A nice, peaceful getaway. More

Booked from Australia via the internet and found such a warm and welcoming place to base ourselves for a family story exploration. Marie and Willy were so interested and made us feel so very welcome and helped us enjoy the area even more. Gairloch was a joy to visit; the Old Inn was the best place to be coming in... More

Room was comfy, location is very good. Good breakfast. No comfy living room / lounge to hang out. We hung out in the dining room which was nice but not very comfortable. Be prepared for a lot of midges outside. Probably the only place during our visit in Scotland where we had to run away from midges. Overall, a decent... More

I'm kind of torn in two...on the one hand I have to shout it out to the world what a wonderful place this is and on the other hand I want to jealously guard it and keep it my personal little secret. Beautiful house and grounds, a deliciously pretty room with a bathroom you can dance in, tasty breakfast in... More

Two-night stay to visit Inverewe Gardens and enjoy area's coastal scenery. Tidy picturesque home is nicely set amid huge, old trees and flowering scrubs. Short drive to pubs, eateries. We enjoyed the vista view of the countryside from our second floor bedroom, which was comfortable, spacious and ensuite. Hosts were very welcoming - and the cooked breakfast quite nice. More

We loved our stay at Kerrysdale House. The hosts were very welcoming and we were sorry to leave. The rooms were spacious and clean. We were given tips about eating the the area and found a lovely pub just about 2 miles away. We will certainly be back! Great place to park a Lotus! More
