You have a private entrance into the thatch cottage so if you want to come and go without disturbing anyone you can. Nancy even provides slippers when you first open the... More

Thatch cottage is wonderful-a real escape from the outside world. Nancy is such a lovely friendly hostess- very informative about the area. And the breakfasts were superb. We're just working out when to return. More

As a single business woman, I often stay at Thatch Cottage and find it extremely comfortable, clean and well appointed. Nancy is the best hostess you could ask for and is very obliging and welcoming. Thatch Cottage is at the top of my list and I cannot imagine staying anywhere else! More

What a nice stay we had in this lovely cottage. My boyfriend and I were after a nice and relaxing couple of days somewhere next to and old village where we could have some taste of the old England. When I saw the picture in the website with the nice price I got really interested. The cottage was just right;... More

We loved our stay in the Thatch Cottage. Our host was more than accommodating, going above and beyond to make our stay welcoming and comfortable. The cottage itself felt very homely and is situated very closely to some of the most beautiful villages i've seen. I would recommend the Thatch Cottage to anyone thinking of visiting the area. Thank you... More

After being recommended by a member of family we decided to experience it for ourselves. It was a beautiful little cottage inside and out, very cosy! Nancy was very accomodating and cooked us lovely breakfasts with a FANTASTIC selection of home made jams! We would definitely book to stay again, and being 20 minues from Bath it was the perfect... We stayed at the Thatch cottage last year but I'm looking forward to spending another few days there and seeing Nancy and Paul again next year. We met up with a friend at short notice and Nancy organised the cottage to make it warm and welcoming for all three of us. The cottage has off street parking, a beautiful garden... More

We have just returned from our second visit to Thatch Cottage. Nancy and Paul are very friendly. Nancy cooks a great breakfast and we like the fact that a) we are the only guests and b) the cottage has a sitting room and bedroom upstairs. Excellent value for money. We visited Bath`s Christmas market on Nancy`s recommendation and were not... More
