Recently stayed at the Rowan House B&B to attend my cousin's wedding in The Lodge. Both of the rooms we booked were tastefully decorated, comfortable and very clean. Wendy and Steve(owners) are friendly and very attentive. The views from the house of the loch are just fabulous. More

We stayed in Rowan Cottage for one week in July. Cottage is lovely, clean, well equipped with with amazing views to the Loch. Place is a very good base to make long walks near the shores and up to the hills. And there are so many places worth to visit in this region (Cowal, Kintre, Arrochar Apls, Orchy River)! Thanks... My wife and I were driving around Scotland in July. We covered lots of miles and saw some absolutely stunning scenery. We stayed at Rowan house owned by Steve and Wendy for 3 nights. Firstly, the location - was simply beautiful, quiet, peaceful. If you are thinking of going to New Zealand for beautiful scenery give this a try first,... More

We spent three nights at this highly recommendable place. The hosts Steve and Wendy are very nice and always helpful, the rooms comfortable and impeccably clean. Good food (breakfast and if so desired evening meals), Wendy is a great cook! The location is a bit out of the way of nearly everything, but wasn't that what we were looking for?... More

My husband and I and our two daughters stayed at this beautiful bed and breakfast in Carrick Castle on the eve of my eldest daughter's wedding in the Lodge on Loch Goil. I cannot recommend it enough. It was obviously just a bed for the night for us all before my daughter's wedding at the nearby Lodge. We, were therefore... More

We stayed just one night when passing through and had the most beautiful picnic on the loch shore where Wendy had provided tables and chairs. An unspoilt view. Stunningly clean and beautifully decorated room. The breakfast room looks over the loch. More

We stayed for two nights at this great little B&B directly on the banks of Loch Goil in the small village of Carrick Castle. The welcome we received was very warm and Wendy and Steve were helpful and friendly throughout our stay, even providing us with some local walk details. The room was spotlessly clean, with very comfortable, cosy bedding... More
