My daughter and I enjoyed our stay at The Hermitage. It was extremely comfortable and felt very relaxed and I would recommend it to my colleagues friends and family.We got a lovely welcome by David and the tea and cake in the drawing room on arrival was a lovely touch. More

We stayed here for two nights while we were in town for a friend's wedding and were delighted with the place. David was a friendly host, the house was beautifully decorated and the breakfast was great. Couldn't fault it - highly recommended. More

You can find cheaper rooms in other B+Bs in Kelso but we believe the extra pounds spent made a noticeable difference. The Hermitage is a traditionally decorated B&B with lovely rooms which I'm sure would keep most visitors happy. Unfortunately my stay was marred by the owner of this establishment. Firstly, immediately calling a guest by their first name is rather intrusive, let alone calling me by an abbreviated version of my name which I did not invite him to do.... More

What more can I say, a wonderful welcome and beautifully clean & well appointed bedrooms and sitting room for guests use. Breakfast is all local produce and well presented in the Dining room, we will definately be staying again. More
