We have just returned from staying in the self catering cottages... This has to be one of the most beatiful locations anywhere.. we arrived, mid saturday afternoon, and were warmly greeted by Jo, showing us the cottage, and letting us know if there was anything needed etc, just to go to the hotel next door.. the cottage ( pine) was... Pam and I and Milo the dog Stayed in Pine Cottage in Late April and Early May 2013 for 2 weeks. We really enjoyed our holiday which was very restful and peaceful. Pine Cottage was extremely comfortable, warm and well equipped for our needs and we had the added bonus of delicious food served next door in the restaurant with... More

We have just returned from a four night stay at this hotel - this being our sixth visit. As always we had a very enjoyable stay. The hotel is ideally positioned for touring the island and for a trip to Iona. Kieron and Jo are always welcoming and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Our room was clean, comfortable,... We love coming and staying at one of the cottages. We have shared this experience with family members and friends on several occasions. During the winter months we think about all the lovely experiences and look forward to coming again. There are lovely beaches to visit on the Ross of Mull, as well as a great variety of wild flowers... More

We brought our niece from Canada to experience West Coast Scotland at its best and this visit did not disappoint. We saw wildlife in abundance and returned to a friendly reception each evening. We traded stories with other guests, shared photos and enjoyed a relaxed and friendly dining room atmosphere over good food and wines. We have been to Pennyghael... More

Lovely to be back here for another week. We love coming to Jo and Kieron's hotel and enjoying their hospitality. Kieron's food as good as ever and service friendly and attentive. Love the Inverlussa mussels ! Of all the places we visit for our birdwatching holidays, this is our favourite. Location on the edge of Loch Scridain is superb and... More

I spent several nights here in the fall and enjoyed it very much. My room was clean and comfortable (the well stocked bookshelves were a nice touch), the food surprisingly good, and the hosts convivial. The hotel is conveniently situated for exploring the island, which I did at length, and the surroundings are nothing short of spectacular.

Pennyghael Hotel is situated by the side of a loch with a magnificent view across the water to the mountains on the other side. You will see otters frisking in the shallows in the evening twilight and red deer roam around at will. Pennyghael is a fantastic place to stay to enjoy these natural delights and Kieron and Jo are... I had an amazing time on Mull and a big part of this was due to Pennyghael Hotel. I stayed for a week and wished I could have stayed longer. Kieron and Jo were absolutely amazing - very friendly and accommodating. The food was wonderful and our cottage was great - lots of room, very comfortable, had everything we needed... More
