We spent a few days here in April and really enjoyed it. Very clean and the rooms are serviced daily. The location is great as the previous reviewer stated. The attached restaurant is pretty good, we really enjoyed the pastas and salads. The terrace is great place to relax. The mini bar has well priced beer. They also have bottles... More

The posada is in great location. It is located centrally between the busy downtown and very close to area with restaurants and bars. The parks/plazas Heroinas and Bolivar are just few blocks walking distance. The posada is a two storey building with rooms opening onto an open passageway. My room was double occupancy, smallish but big enough. It had a... More

Undoubtedely one of the best places I slept in Venezuela. Rooms are quite small but comfortable and clean. And YES - there is a hot water in shower! What a nice change after 3 nights at Los Llanos. The location of this hotel is also perfect - quite close to the center and with a lot of restaurants and bars... More

We have been staying with my friend and husband for 2 nights in a triple room and could not really complain. The only minus is that the room is really tiny, we could hardly fit our backpacks, same with bathroom. They do have hot water, Sat TV, nice patio and great restaurant where you can have Desayno in the morning.... More

Very charming hotel. A little gem. Good rooms with hot water, tv, fan, refrigerator and safety box. Rooms are a bit small but very nice. Very friendly staff. Nice common room. Good restaurant (we had lunch). If you walk down the street towards the cablecar you find restaurants, shops for food, good bakery (for breakfast) and a great travel agency... More

Good location, great price. The rooms are OK, they have everything you need, even a safety box, which you can use with a deposit. Rooms get cleaned everyday, towels are replaced everyday as well. What I didn't like is that you could hear everything outside the rooms, in the afternoons, when there were kids running around the hotel, I couldn't... More

Posada Montana is a lovely little hotel - and so cheap - only about 130 bf a night. Had absolutely everything we wanted - hot water ( which was really nice after having cold water in the last place we stayed - brrr!) Cable TV (so the other half could get his sports fix!) comfy beds, pretty little roof terrace... More

We stayed at this Posada on and off for two weeks in Merida in between our tours. The rooms were small but very tasteful and well-kept, with a minibar and a safe for free. They didn't have AC and the fans can be noisy at night. The room rate was 115,000 Bs for double occupancy. The Posada also provides free... More

Have just stayed at Posada La Montana for two nights in June 07. It had been recommended, and is recommended in guide books. It is cheap, cheerful, basic; the walkway inside is bright with plants, but the rooms are tiny. Just as well I hadn't the proverbial cat. They had made an effort to brighten the rooms but as they... I stayed here for three nights in November of 2006 and it was great. The rooms are small and simple but at approx $25 (US) a night it was great. It had a TV in the room, a very sturdy cement safe built in to the closet, and the staff was friendly and helpful. They are very small rooms, but... More
