The hotel is very clean!! It has a salt water pool but no one used it during my stay. Instead, the poolside was used for sunning pillows. Yes, the pillows in my room do smell clean and fresh. The room is very spacious. Plenty of space for a cha-cha-cha. It has both ceiling fan and air-conditioner in each room. Most... More

Stayed here for a couple of nights in April, but ended up moving down the road to Thazin which was so much nicer if you can afford the upgrade. Rooms here are about US$40 a night including an average breakfast (toast, eggs, piece of fruit). Bathrooms are a bit run down, rooms on the ground floor are pretty dark, in... More

Per other reviews, this hotel is made by its young staff. They provided constant and excellent service and were always on hand, always to be found, always smiling and pleasant. The rooms were spacious with a/c and overhead fans for those who want to avoid the air-conditioning. The pool in the centre creates a very pleasant ambiance, but would look... More

Stayed here 4 nights in February. The room was large and comfortable but the bathroom really needed a makeover. The rooms are set around a nice small pool. The best thing about the hotel was the quality of the staff - nothing was too much trouble for them. They efficiently arranged taxis, horse and cart tours, air tickets etc. Breakfast... More

After the greatly overpriced $7US taxi trip from the airport, it was nice to relax in this spacious hotel in New Bagan. Bagan is composed of 2 adjacent villages, New and Old Bagan. New Bagan is less oriented towards tourism, and a little further from the main Bagan archaeological sites. Good to arrange a taxi or horse and cart ("horse-cat")... More

I love this hotel. It is such a nice haven. After a hot day in Began it's nice to go back to the hotel and swim before the dinner. The hotel is wonderful and spacious beatuful setting around the pool to relax. I would not stay anywhere else in Began. I also visited one of the resorts and I like... More

The only few things I like is the service of staffs, a small pool and located in a real quiet village close to a very very nice restaurant 'Welcome'. It can accommodate a big group of tourist with big lobby and canteen. But I was there alone, food was fresh and nice prepare but there did not use real butter.... More

Stayed for 5 nights while on an organised ( individual) tour of Myanmar. Bagan is very quiet in the off season so mostly had the hotel to ourselves. This place was a wonderful haven. Its modern, spacious and well appointed for a three star hotel in the third world. The staff couldn't have done more for us. The heat was... More
