We are a retired couple and stayed there for several months (last year). We are returning again this year. We like to walk, so we didn't mind the walk to the road (10 minutes). Others may require a car. I would walk 5Km to Janet's in Caberete every day, along the Beach. Beautiful Beach....

Do not stay here! This was the dirtiest place I have ever seen. Blood on the sheet, soap scum in the shower, mold in the refrigerator and you have to jump a brick wall to get out. Do not stay they will take your money and tell you to clean it. Worst place in the DR. We love the DR...
