Recently stayed at the cas cayena hotel. The hotel staff was very accomodating and beautiful. I stayed 3 days in rooms on the ground floor. Room was large and clean, even had a plasma tv. For dominican standards this hotel was nice. Breakfast in the morining was just as promised. The hotel is a short walk (less than 5 min)... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here while in Sosua. The room was nice, and we had a door leading straight to the pool area. However, we did not get any rest. They blared the music until the wee hours of the morning. Then after they shut off the music, the neighbors were having loud "relations" and I couldn't get any... More

I just wanted to write a little something about my 2nd stay at the Casa Cayena during the month of April of this year. I was there in Sousa for the week prior to Easter Sunday, from Good Friday to the Thursday before Easter, I believe this time of the year is known as Semana Santa in La Repulica Dominicana.... More

I really enjoyed my stay- the rooms were very nice, King beds, nice view over the pool and most of all very quiet, the girl at the front desk was very helpful and extremely friendly, the place is a short walk from 2 beach's and in a very safe location, I would highly recommend staying there, I paid $50 a... I just returned a couple weeks back from a four night stay at the Casa Cayena in Sosua over the American Thanksgiving vacation break. This was my second visit to the vibrant country of the Dominican Republic on the island of Hispanola. I spent a few days & nights reading over hotel reviews, & asking questions to other members regarding... More

When I go to Sosua it is only one place I stay Casa Cayena. It is not a 5 star hotel, but they have all the basics that you need. If you are looking to go on a romantic vacation with your wife then this is not the place. If you are going with your "Homies" on a guy's week... More

My friends and I have been to the Dominican Republic about 10 times. We have stayed at Cayena at lkeast 6 times. Last trip we stayed at New Garden which was excellent. The staff at Cayena is very friendly and asked us to come back to Cayena for our next trip, which we did. We were a little disappointed in... More

The location is very good, near the beach and many bars, restaurants and discotheque. It is a cheap hotel, the room was old and very simple. The A/C is very noisy and the swimming pool too: it is difficult to sleep there. Good breakfast. No frills hotel. More
