We was there for a week, and this week was very special for me. Beautiful nature, full of magic: you can sleep not in tent, but under the sky. Beautiful people, full of hospitality. Great food and coffee :) It is far from civilization, that is why the light is off after 23.00 (camp have an electricity from generator). Closets... More

I stayed in the Ammarin Bedouin Camp for four nights last month with a group and everything about my experience here was beautifully unexpected. The beauty of the surroundings was breathtaking, one of our days included a hike up the mountains where I felt like we traveled back through biblical times and ended with lunch on Farsh's 'Balcony' which overlooks... We arrived at the camp at 4:30 PM and was greeted by the manager. There was little to no communication since he did not speak very much English. He showed us to our tent that appeared to by clean. When we asked for towels we were told that they were extra. We found out that there electricity would only be... More

This is a warm caring camp that will do anything to please. You can have your own room (part of the tent-very private) or put 2 in a room. We went in January and we sat around the huge fire stove kinda thing in theh huge Community tent and were warm as toast, They're welcoming tea was delicious and the... More

We stayed at Ammarin Bedouin Camp after learing that the camp is a "responsible and ethical tourism venue" whereby proceeds of our pay go to the local community cooperative - 200 families. The staff is from the local community and all the support unit too. Cooking is performed by local bedouin women who put in their hearts and presented us... More

We stayed at Ammarin for one night based on a recommendation by friends and we were not disappointed. The toilets/showers were very clean and our tent was private and comfortable. The food was also fantastic for dinner and breakfast. We had an issue with getting to the Petra night tour and they offered to help us out with no questions... More

After spending the day in Petra we retired to Ammarin for the evening. The camp is set in a lovely canyon which is lit up at night giving it a surreal effect. The tents are simple, but cozy. The washrooms are clean, but you do need to bring you own towel. It reminds me of camping in one of our... More

We stayed at Ammarin for one night as part of a Desert Eco Tour group. We arrived at the camp and were met by a burning fire and hot tea available, a favorable start to our stay! It was nice to relax by the fire and meet the other people who were also staying (in total there were 9 of... More
