Found the hotel is not kept to a good clean standard. Mould in the bathroom floor tiles, shower rose broken, bath plug woulden't stay in. The restuarant was not cleaned from the night before on both days. Plates had chips out of them. Very disapointed in what was expected to be an experience. Also well out of Petra.

In 1999 I stayed two nights at the Kings Way Hotel. I enjoyed it at a fair price. I would have stayed there again on my last visit 2010 but my agent booked me at Beit Zaman. Good choice! Nice, basic rooms. Modest but good buffet for meals. Lovely views of Petra and surrounding mountains. Unique chance to stay in old Ottoman village! Wifi in lobby. Warm pool welcome after hiking. Many tour groups stayed here, but did not take away from our experience as smaller group.
