Stayed at this hotel as part of a cycling tour for 3 nights. The best thing about the hotel is its location, but that is all. The shower was the worst bit, and i know there is a water problem in Jordan as a whole, but it was a dribble that came out and unfortunately we were at the hotel... More

Stayed at this hotel as part of a bike tour group of 17. It's located a short walk from the entrance to Petra and close to a variety of restaurants. Also not far from the town proper. Rooms were clean and the property well maintained, although the 2 flights of stairs to get to the elevator was a bit awkward.... More

Perfect location! It was like 3-4 minutes walk from the Hotel to the Petra entrance site. The hotel has good free wifi coverage at the lobby. Reasonable wifi speed. The room is quite small but comfortable since most of the daytime we were outside exploring the historical site. We arrived at the hotel 8.30am from Alia International Airport using a... More

I've stayed at the Edom hotel four times now and it has become my go-to location for taking friends that visit me here in Jordan to Petra. Why do I like it? The location can't be beat because you don't have to find a place to park at Petra, you just walk down a couple of blocks from the hotel.... More

The location was perfect! The water hot, if you shower at night. The breakfast is great, if you like cold eggs, pancakes, and potatoes. We did run our pancakes through the rolling toaster, to warm them up a bit. I believe they make the food the night before and refrigerate it, then put it in the chaffing dishes, straight fromthe... Right next to the entrance to Petra which is great. However, on both days when we came back late from Petra there was no hot water - need to shower either late at night or early in the morning. Disappointing breakfast compared to other buffets in Jordan. Bed was also very very hard and had old thin sheets which felt... More

Great location, excellent value, nice, clean rooms, big bathroom, hairdryer, very helpful staff re sightseeing suggestions and bookings, a real jewel. Can they improve? Yes. Wi-fi with stronger reception/coverage; dinner buffet food only average, they have an espresso machine in the front bar, but either choose to or don't have the skill to use it. Tourists want a good coffee!!! More
