The room size was good and the bed was very comfortable and clean. People who worked at the front desk during the day were very helpful. But I had a problem in the middle of the night, the person who worked as a night shift knew nothing. All he told me was to come back after 7am. The food in... More

The staff at this hotel is extremely friendly, welcoming and accomodating. The dinner buffet was excellent and quite inexpensive. The breakfast buffet was excellent, as well. We highly recommend this hotel to appreciate the friendiness of the Jordanian people and the quality of their hospitality. The proximity to Petra is within walking distance...if you are in shape! Amra Palace is a very clean hotel that offers not only a great and reasonably priced buffet in the evening, but also a nice hammam and pool area to hang out after an exhausting day in Petra. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Even though the hotel does not offer any alcohol the local beer without alcohol is a... More

Great Place in Petra and its also in city center where shops and only ATM cash machines in the area. Remember to take cash with you to pay for your ticket which is available only in cash & Jordanian Dinars *Credit cards not accepted*. We enjoyed the hamaam, it is amazing in Amra Palace thanks to Lonely Planet recommendations. overall... More

We stayed there for two nights while we toured around Petra and it meant we had two breakfast within the Hotel's restaurant. After having the first breakfast at the Hotel restaurant, my wife and I had a very bad stomach and we went sightseeing in Petra and had diarrhea several times close to that afternoon. Thank God that Petra has... More

The staff of this hotel are what made my lodging experience and that of my 6 friends excellent as we were sight-seeing at Petra. No one shares gracious hospitality and demonstrates a cheerful readiness to meet their guests' needs like the staff of this hotel. All of them! Shaban, the friendly and sincere young doorman, goes above and beyond the... More

We stayed at the Amra Palace hotel on a two day tour of Petra and Wadi Rum. Although the hotel is situated a bit from the entrance to Petra we found it a delightful place to stay. The staff was very helpful and friendly, the rooms were clean and very nice and the indoor pool was a pleasant diversion after... More

From the warm welcome at the front desk, complete with a complimentary juice while we registered, to the last moments of checkout; this was a charming and well-priced choice. Small rooms but well appointed with comfortable bed and a high level of cleanliness; good shower pressure, too. You want a room overlooking the front with a lovely view over the... More

The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, the buffet breakfast was excellent. This is a three star hotel and it well deserves that rating. It is fairly high up in the village and not really within walking distance of the entrance to Petra, but there are many ways to get down there-- private car, taxi,... More

We stayed 2 nights as part of a Gecko's tour so this was quite up market compared with what we were used to on the trip. The room we had was clean and maintained, though a bit small once all the luggage was in. All the Staff were friendly and helpful making sure we were happy with everything. Breakfasts and... More
