Strolling distance to the ancient town of Sommieres, very peaceful and destressing, friendly staff - we enjoyed our stay!

We arrived on our bikes, in the pouring rain, cold and soaking wet, at 1:00 PM and the innkeeper told us to come back at 3:00, because check-in was not until 3:00. Less than five minutes stroll from Lawrence Durrell's favourite town. Elegant renovation of former station (the non-air-conditioned rooms would be better with fans). Swimming pool. Green way cycle/walking track starts here. Pets welcomed by resident labrador Phébus and young terrier Eliot. Good base for exploring Montpellier, Nimes, Uzès, Cevennes, etc.

I stayed there for 5 nights in a single room, and was pleased with everything: nice room (even though noise protection is not perfect), nice pool, friendly staff and managers, and worse the money.
