My Self and my new wife booked in to this parador through an agent having never stayed in a parador and were blown away by the stunning views all around the hotel , even the access road is amazing, we were shown to our room which had sea views ,but was not very big and looked a bit dated so... Were on a parador car tour round north Spain. This place has a great location with a wonderful view of the bay, but unfortunately not from our room which faced a small courtyard. I enquired about a bay-view room but was just told it wasn't part of our package - even though I would have paid more and rooms were... More

We just had our wedding at the Parador and we couldn't have asked for more. From the amazing views of the Parador, to the excellent food, the friendly staff, discount prices for our guests and a truly unforgettable honeymoon suite that was bigger than our apartment back home! We got married at the Parador's chapel, which was really cute, with... More

All other reviews have stressed the location - which is indeed stunning. The walk around the old city walls is exceptional and should not be missed - regardless of the weather. As in all other Paradors, the room was large, clean, comfortable - but somehow the whole Parador seemed a bit soul-less. To be fair, it was out of season... More

A great hotel in a fantastic location. The views of the Baiona Bay and of the islands are just Wonderful. The walk along the paths on the ancient walls from Bayona to the hotel are stunning, in particular at sunrise and sunset. Room, breakfast, and service were good as expected from this type of Hotel. Free wifi available. If you... More

This has to be one of the best locations for a hotel anywhere, like Pendennis Castle and Point in Falmouth, but hotter and drier! Usual Parador consistency with comfortable rooms, great breakfasts and delicious sea food at dinner in a slightly busy restaurant. Close to the rocky beach, lovely walks around the peninsular.

We went from Madrid to spend a weekend, with a group of friends. The Parador is an historic building, well preserved and with outstanding views. Prices are reasonable and food is excellent. Staff is very friendly. Rooms are a little old fashioned (something that is typical to Paradores), but well mantained. Not to miss a walk arond the peninsula where... More

One night was just not enough in this truly exceptional location. The parador is like a large manor house within ancient castle walls, sited superbly on a promontory looking out to sea. Don't miss walking both around the ramparts (I do like a hotel with its own cannon) which has stunning views of the bay where Columbus's ships sailed in... More
