Robert and Audrey are exemplary hosts. Superb communal access rooms in the main house with free WIFI (in addition to Jedburgh town centre). Excellent evening menu of a higher standard than anywhere in town. Very quiet and secluded setting. Excellent breakfast just missing some beans! We'll definitely be back, despite only living 60 miles sway in Newcastle! More

The setting for the hotel is fantastic, in a wooded and peaceful setting. The hotel was wonderful and extremely well appointed. The restaurant was great and the owner, Audrey ws the chef and prepared an absolutely wonderful meal. This is a gem and anyone who stays there will be so pleased! PLEASE GO! Denise King More

This hotel was recommended to us a little while ago, and having stayed there we wish that we had done so earlier. We were met at the door, with a very friendly greeting and looked after faultlessly during our stay. Food, ambience and personal attention were the strong points at this hotel. We cannot think of anything more we could... More

Just returned from a 2 day stay at the hotel. Was our first time exploring the borders area and we chose this hotel based on reviews we had read on trip adviser. The hotel is situated in lovely grounds and has a very individual and eclectic decor, which may not be to everyone's taste but it is very clean and... More

Stayed for one night in a lovely room. Wish we had time to stay longer. Had a very friendly greeting on arrival and were shown to our room which was outstanding. Decided to eat in the restaurant which proved to be a great choice. Great food and 1st class service . A hidden gem More

I cannot say enough about this great hotel. We visited Scotland for a wedding on the Isle of Skye and decided to make it a 3 day break. We stayed in a 5* Barcelo in Stirling, a Country House hotel on the Isle of Skye and the Jedforest Hotel on our way home. The Jedforest was and is the best... More

Set in lovely secluded surroundings yet just yards from the main road this hotel offers old world charm with all the modern comforts and attention to details while Robert and Audrey showed us their wonderful scottish hospitality. We found the food exceptionally good, as was the service provided by Dominic, that we didn't bother to try any were else. There is... More

Late at night, stuck in a snow drift in a broken down campervan on Carter Bar, the highly professional yet so considerate Northumbrian Police rescued me and "did their duty", taking me to a place of safety. It was the nearest hotel, but they could not have chosen better. Robert and Audrey were so kind and thoughtful when I arrived... More
